I give up on party in this game.

Solution: Make loot drops fair...

I do not want to party with someone that could potentially take a drop that was for me. (I did 100% damage to a monster away from the person).. Too many potential loot stealing problems.

Same i declined all the inv simply bcoz of the loot system...we are such loot-hores :>
Because most of them play with friends? I got invites from random people while i was in a party with a friend... sorry if it was you. :(
!
I dunno first couple levels of difficulty I'm more interested in seeing what I can do solo vs. just running around in a party smashing things. That kind of stuff is fun when the difficulty is really high and everyone stands a chance of dying.

Honestly I'm only having fun in these kinds of games if there is a very real and present danger, and in a group that just isn't likely.

Also with it being just a few days for open weekend, I wanted to level up as far as possible to get an idea of what sort of things are possible in the later stages of the game. I'm sure it will be better once final release rolls around.
As I can see, I was not the only one missing the multiplayer-aspect of the game.

Grouping right now is just clunky. I want a list of active players in instances to tag along. Give players an option the make their games private and everybody is happy.

Don't change FFA loot. I don't want another WoW.

I have experienced this as well.

iirc, i've played games where each individual player gets his own loot, they don't see other people's. It is a great system and encourages coop play some more.

After 12 years of Diablo 2, recently finished testing a mod, I still look for challenging coop games.

For myself I don't really care for blind invites. I try to whisper someone and ask if they'd like to group up, and I'm more inclined to accept invites from someone who has taken a minute to ask or talk to me first before inviting me.

Blind invites to me just seem like people in a big hurry to rush to the loots, in which case no thank you.

Just my 2 scrolls worth.
people dont have time to team on a 24/7 basis.. sometimes not even to team up 1 hr daily.

penalizing people who like online games but cannt for this or that reason invest time in partying most of the time with a bunch of people you dont know and will act weird either looting or afkying or w/e.. its wrong.

to me.. and in the actual state of online gaming.. online gaming must provide a single player experience with option for partying / raiding but not mandatory.. with auction house and mail system together with crafting to generate a player created economy. and thats it :)

Same here. Ninja invites, without so much as a word, get declined from me. It's a knee-jerk reaction.
