I give up on party in this game.

It seems nobody wanna play in party, i send invites to people around my level in town and they all leave.. why? everyone seems so weird in this game compared to diablo2 there is no team spirit or anything.. why playing an onlin game if u only wanna play alone? how boring is that...

I found the same thing. I'd offer to group up when I was in town but I never got a response. I even set my status as 'LFG.'

I think that when you're in town, you're just too focused on your task at hand - selling & comparing items, trading in quests, etc., so requests to join group just get lost in the noise.

Maybe something that would help would be chat channels and have everyone join an LFG channel automatically?

I enjoyed playing the open beta last weekend, but I did it all alone. Very sad.

Definitely needs something like this, or maybe toggle a bar to one side listing open parties?
I only played the weekend beta so far which was probably a but frenzied, but I think in the long run many users would appreciate this.

Unfortunately, the current game state encourages solo play and only parting with something called "leechers".

Leechers are lower level characters that gain xp by being in the higher areas while the higher level character gets better loot.

Other players, such as myself, enjoy playing with people we know already. This is also because of the fact that loot is free for all(Which is a disadvantage for ranger characters).

GGG has already made some attempts to remedy this issue. I am sure more is on the way. Have faith fellow exiles!

I think there is room for the content to become much more challenging. This would make the game more interesting for players that prefer the challenge themselves, while encouraging party play for those that have a tough time with the content.

Some sort of LFG system will probably be implemented in the future and help remedy this issue; at least for the handful that are already trying to party but unable to get connected with others that do too.

As long as people can run around grabbing all the loot (rather than each person's loot being invisible to others), partying is discouraged unless you know the person. Terrible design FFA loot is, hopefully GGG remedy that.

i only group with guildies...not going to bother to fight for loot with pugs.

Its because of loot for me.

Free for all loot.
