something has to be wrong with your packet frames or something... because that's SERIOUS packet loss...
you sent 103 packets, and only received 1? And that's assuming it got through the other ones.. because it looks like you actually sent 469 packets total. The strange thing to me also is that you're dropping packets on your own LAN. Between your machine and your DSL modem, you've dropped 3% of your packets (11 of them). Check your network cables and your DSL phone line cables, etc to start with. You want there to be 0 packet loss within your own network. |

" hmm yeah just checked the cables and astuff, everything seems to be fine, after runing few more tests the lan loss is allways about 1-3%, but yeah the other ones are apsurds with like 90% losses like in the previous one. How am I even able to play the game with such high packet loss is the question. |

well I did one more thing to try and see if something is amiss.
I logged in and hoped around places until I reached an instance where the lag happens. I then did a simple ping -t command to that server. it showed 0 packet loss even though I was ingame and lagging. so this will be my last post in this thread for a while. I know GGG are working on connectivity issues in general and I wish for their quick triumph over those obstacles. what I think would have been better if someone from GGG would have respond and gave us some directions on how we could have gather network information to help them pinpoint the problem. lets us help you help us sort of a thing. in any case I wish everyone a good weekend and happy holidays! |

and of course thank you very much Drakier for your time and advice.

Sorry you can't figure it out.
Just a question I have that may or may not be related... which gateway are you using for the game, and which country are you playing from? The reason I ask is that I was recently made aware of a network cable issue in singapore that is taking some time to fix (probably because it is on the bottom of the ocean). I'm not sure if that is having any effect on your gameplay, but it is a possibility. |

it seems that i have the same problem like you do it started today and its really impossible playing at this moment but i think its a problem with our ISP just a guess, other online games dosent lagg but poe i hope they fix this fast |

I'm using comcast here in cali. I've been getting this problem ever since 2 days ago.... I have lost several high level maps because my lag spikes to 1-2 minutes (yes, 1-2 min lag spike) during those instances and ONLY THOSE instances. It doesn't help even if I restart my computer/modem
