Don't be a "ninja = kick" baby
" As I said, man, if anyone BESIDES the party leader is ninja-ed, the party leader doesn't do shit. So your rationale goes out the window because it doesn't apply to the entire party. If it were really no ninja I'd be cool with that. But I don't wanna be ninja-ed relentlessly AND not be able to ninja back, and that's the reality. And yes, it is practically forcing it on us because of how many of you are out there. Look at the notice board. 95% of the ledge/fellshrine/docks games say "no ninja". If there's no alternative, then saying it's not "forcing" is just trying to win on a technicality. |

" It's not their exalt! There you go! See, therein lies the problem with this topic (though I love that it gets a lot of debate). GGG has told us, and it has been mentioned in this very thread, that the names on the loot d NOT mean they are "yours" but only are done as a halfway measure to help out those who can't get in as quickly to "share" the loot. |

" I feel its cutthroat interms of 'get the loot you want' but i do agree with the 2nd half of your sentence. Perhaps Im lucky but i just feel it rarely happens that everyone STOPS to gather around a single orb (minus exhalt/GCP) Generally speaking, everyone seems quite civilised interms of getting the job done. Once optimisation has happened towards end of Beta development, hopefully lower-end machines will be able to deal with loot-pickup better. Atm, if something drops with my name on it, i have almost zero issues in picking it up as I go. Just for try for see and for know -2013!

There is absolutely zero argument for FFA loot. It just makes it easier for nijas and loot whores to get ahead and piss off honest people.
That loot system is a relic of days past and needs to go, just like the XP loss on death. |

I remember someone try to loot my exalt orb, but I got it. he, then complains that it was his. The leader kick him for lying.
BoomExplosion - Templar (BOOM!)
_Sistar_ - Duelist (currently rerolling him) FakeShooter - Ranger (meh LA, iceshot rangerrr) FakeMaster - Shadow (might start when I get everything) |

" Hah you mean the party EMPEROR. Maybe this is what the real problem is, people tripping on the "power" they get by being a party leader. Just play the damn game! Kick someone egregious, but don't kick occasional misdeeds. Simple. |

" Disagree and disagree, its not YOUR loot, ever, even with your name on it briefly. I would be even more infuriated if they got rid of XP loss on death... anyway... back to subject... Just for try for see and for know -2013!

" I don't know what parties you've been in, but I have a complete opposite experience to you. If somebody tells the party leader that a member has ninja'd their item, a kick is usually given to that person swiftly. When I'm the party leader, I try to stop people from ninja'ing each others items - but I'll only kick if I personally see somebody ninja another member's item. Otherwise, people could just think 'Hmm, I dislike Player X. Hey party leader, Player X just stole my loot!" |

" Can you really watch for that? You must be a god! I can barely watch for the loot I need to pick up, much less what anyone else's loot is (before timer is out) and who picked it up instead of the other person (not to mention that I don't even always know names by toon in my party). Sounds like you are processing a hell of a lot of data as party leader. And if so, kudos. But you're rare enough to be the exception that proves the rule, perhaps? |
