I party for rushing through quests on alts, not for drops. The only time I get pissy about it is when I'm the only person using a certain weapon type, a rare weapon of that type drops to someone else and they refuse to hand it over. It's like "Are you going to use that claw? No? I'll take it."

I love it when I ninja an item and get instakicked, as it completely gets rid of any second thoughts I have about giving the item back AND I still get to run the rest of the map/dungeon. :)

Just join "FFA" parties - non of this "no ninja loot" rubbish.

Accept the game is FFA; accept the loot timer as being an 'aid' for those who need more time to have a 'chance' of collecting loot (connection speeds / lag / ranged etc).

GGG have already said that individual loot is an expensive & time consuming technical investment therefore, have done what they feel is a halfway measure.

Personally, i'm all game for 'loot options' to be available when creating a group -perhaps controlling the time things are reserved for- but damn, people need to stop feeling like its their loot cos it had their name on it for 3seconds!

Does it suck when you pick up someone else's exhalt? NOPE!

Play the game as free-for-all as has been historically implemented in the ARPG-genre.

Last thing we would want would be a D3-type loot system.

Both are equally sucky to me. I would feel like a dick taking someone else's exalt, and I would think the same of them if they did it to me.

But the loot is just a symptom of the problem; no TRUE PvE. I want a pure PvE experience; a simple cooperative experience instead of a competitive one. Does every team HAVE to be competitive?

Vooodu doesn't actually seem to pay attention to anything people tell him; I think he just gives posts a cursory scan while he comes up with a new way to repeat his own ideas.
