Both of your daggers are good, though the Pneumatic is a bit slow to my taste. Glad you could do those contents. I have seldom done the Vaal Temple deathless. The girl is really deadly with her physical rain.

Wanted to check your PoB, but I can't find your char from Heist. Instead, I see a Cyclone CoC Ice Nova Assassin.

Where do you get the Glorious Vanity Timeless Jewel? There aren't any listed in the trade database.

Hi Exiles,
two Youtube followers suggested me the idea of a video with Flicker Strike. It was a surprisingly good experience.

Here is a new video which features the final boss in Heist league, the Vox twins.
First, we have an intro, where my Unholy Knight Necromancer goes on a mission against them, and discover the unforgivable crime they've committed.
Then, it's time for good old revenge, and the Nightblade enters the stage. Devilish bastards had it coming.

Seems like a cool build. I am trying to follow this with my shadow in standard league.

Are the trees in your 2nd post still applying to this build? Because I sometimes see screenshots in this topic of slightly different paths.

AAnd, can you give any tips on which skills are good for leveling? I saw your level guide. But how long do I play with Frost Blades/ Cobra Leash? When should I consider switching?

Also, are 2 daggers better than dagger/shield?

The second post is about older versions of the tree, I haven't reviewed these PoB links for a while, so you'd better follow the ones in the first post.

Blade Flurry is available from level 28, but at this point, you can use only a level 1 gem. I usually begin using BF during act 4, when I grind 2 or 3 levels in Dried Lake.

Before 3.11, dual wielding would give 20% more dmg on top of 10% more atk speed. Now, it gives only atk speed, so the difference with weapon/shield is less relevant.

So you may want to use a shield to cap your elem res, get a ton of life and some chaos res.

Let's take an example. With my current character in league, I have this belt to get 75% elem res :


But the best unique belt for this build is the Ryslatha's. This is the one I have in Std :

It's a very good roll and it has the 20% atk quality with the Catalysts (forget the enchant, which is useless)

In PoB I'll open my char in league, and I'll simulate what happens if I put the Ryslatha instead of the rare one, and then a shield instead of a second dagger to cap my res.
In this specific case, I lose DPS and I gain life. Now I have to judge if it's worth it, knowing that the Ryslatha is expensive (at least 5ex for a good roll). Here, it's probably not worth the investment, hence dual wielding is better and cheaper.

Actually, I have seldom played with dagger/shield.

Improved setup for Delirious maps.

This is a poison setup that I'm using with my Pestilent Viper build.

You will need :
- The poison mod for sextants : "Players deal 8/10/12% increased Damage for each Poison on them". This mod is one of the most commons.
- The Golden Rule unique jewel : "poisons you inflict are reflected to you, up to 100 poisons". 3 chaos.
- Maw of the Conquest helmet : unaffected by poison. The dmg taken gained as life is a very powerful regen. 15c

(prices in Standard)

As you can see, this is cheap.
And it's very easy to sustain 100 poisons in juicy delirious maps. With the awakened level of the poison mod, you will get 12*100 = 1200% increased damage. Add it in PoB (on a flask for instance) and you'll see it's about 150% more DPS !

Here is a demo video with it : first an intro à la Hotline Miami (as it fits the mad atmosphere of Delirium), then I rush into the delirious maps. In a T16 100%, I fight Kosis and Omniphobia at the same time !

oh, thanks for the reply. Since i havent played the game that much, I liked that you had provided incomplete build paths, so I know which passives to focus on in early levels. I will still try to follow the original post as much as possible. Maybe switch it up in the next league.

But in general, when leveling do you play with what drops/is available at merchants, or are you actively trading for gear?
