Creating an elder ring was the most idiotic thing I have ever done in PoE

Uhh, i found it easy to set up though a bit long winded (and even though i fucked up for a 100% perma ring by one map)

Ekhmm thats not "elder ring". The way you have set it up doesnt prevent shaper to take over. You MUST have a gap betwen elder and guardian with 30 maps with elder influence. That way elder wont be able to connect to his guardian by the gap you made since the limit for his maps is 30 and shaper cant take over any of elder maps since elder must be connected to his guardian. The "elder ring" is not really a ring its U with elder on one end and guardian on the other.

That is just ridiculous you just have to influence end game maps to have reliable density. Unnecessarily complicated -- GGG needs to stop gating this sort of shit behind tactics that only a very low amount of the population can comprehend.

"You", for values of you that cover the vast majority of players, really, really don't. You, personally, Seymowr, might have to do this to get what you consider an acceptable density, but the vast majority of players (who make it to maps, already a small proportion of all players) mostly don't need one, and don't care.

I really doubt that GGG had elder rings in mind when they designed the War for the Atlas. Complaining about something you're not "supposed" to do, is [insert negative word here].

Then again, maybe they did have it in mind. Nonetheless, I've tried a couple of time setting one up. Succeeded, too, but fucked up after a while. Will never do it again. Too much hassle. And I play games to get away from hassle.

LOL!!! PoE trade is the worst of the worst. Buying (trying to buy) anything of low value is awful and takes way too much effort. But I don't blame sellers, it's GGG's fault for not having some kind of "buy it now" option without seller involvement. I know GGG is probably not ever going to change this but they should at least code some form of direct buying for all items being sold that are of a small value, maybe <= 5 Chaos.

Do you even know how stupid that statement is? How long it took to discover it for playerbase? Keep in mind there is thousands of players around to think about such possibilities. How many testers GGG does have? 20? 30? I Doubt its more than that. Hell even players like Mathil, Uber, Raiz etc didnt discover it on their own and they have way more than 1000 hours. As i said in other thread i get it you dont like the league but dont make yourself look stupid in the process of bashing it. Maybe if players like you gave valid, proper feedback than something would have been done. [Removed by Support]

Let's just make it so that you can log in and you get everything that you want for free, cause that's a lot of fun, when you don't have to work at something to get it.

Btw, I didnt make my ring before I was lvl 99, and had no problem sustaining red maps at all. If you want to make a ring, you should know what goes into making it so that you dont get frustrated after a couple attempts.

As i said, that was the first attempt, i spent a while after it trying to set it only to figure out that i messed up by removing the wrong guardian, the ring was stable on all bar the anchor maps and one other...the point is it wasn't "hard" to set up really, it wasn't like the ring collapsed on it's own on me, i was able to take it from the top right all the way round to the bottom right (anti clockwise) with no problem.
