End game is only sustaining red maps. Fun?

yes its true, but game exist for 5 years, and nothing realy change in this "core" mechanic of rng, but game for sure need a lot of improvement about reward not only in rng moment, couse if i want to play casino i go to irl casino.
I'm always wondering in these threads what people actually want.

In every league, I have started with a couple wisdom scrolls.
Even if I don't play much, I carry a bunch of Ex in currency, items etc into standard.
And I play a ton of maps of all tiers, up to Shaper.
And I reach level 90+ on at least one character.

So I get rich, I get XP, and I get access to all content.
If GGG would do what people cry for here, I'd drown in stuff.

Can I sustain a certain map of tier 15? Hell, no.
Can I stay in red maps forever? Hell yeah.

And btw, I gain all this stuff by playing the game at my own pace, no crazy mapping strategy, no abuses, and very little trading (I play "semi SSF", I only trade for key items my build requires and sell a couple items to gain currency to selfcraft the rest, I want at least 80% of my items to be selffound or selfcrafted).

To the point about farming your own crops; it is overwhelmingly cheaper, and less time consuming, to grow your own food.

If you spent 10 hours working a job to buy $100 worth of vegetables, you could have bought thousands of dollars worth of vegetables in seeds ...and spent a fraction of that time planting and caring for them.

And how do you get the acres to plant your seeds? And how do you get the machinery for the whole agricultural process?

...and then you would also manufacture your own mobile phone, produce movies for your own entertainment on cameras you build on your own, write your own books with twist endings to surprise yourself, build and repair your own car, house, kitchen, bathroom, toilet etc?

"I have X, you have Y, we both need X and Y, so let's trade" is not a bad concept for a society, and it doesn't necessarily lead to "everybody is poor except the 1%".

I'm still amazed at the bit about growing food being cheaper example....

Seeds are cheap so growing is cheap, completely oblivious to everything else that goes into large scale farming. I mean, not all land is suitable for farming and not all crops can grow in particular areas and climates....

Trade is all around us every day, simply streamlined through the use of currency.
Yep, totally over league play.
its a f2p game and you should not expect much from a f2p games
Maybe that's your end game. It's not mine.

The soft bigotry of low expectations.

I am disappoint.
I don't play that much anymore but I clearly remember that this league I've bought 1x tier 15 map, 1x tier 14 and 1x tier 10. Been playing and picking up only reds, I do nothing but vaal them. So far I have

59 tier 11 maps
61 tier 12 maps
36 tier 13 maps
3 tier 14 maps
2 tier 15 maps
25 tier 16 maps

So basic sustain(alch + vaal, no chisel, no rerolls, no zana, don't really give a damn about influence, no sextants) will let you play up to tier 13 without any problems and the tier 14-15 pool might be unavailable from time to time. But this is fairly consistent with how the system is, if you want to sustain tier 14-15 you need to invest more than I do.
I don't understand why the map complete bonus couldn't have a % increased quantity of maps dropped, attached as well? Nothing stupid hight, but lets say 0,1 or 0,2 % increased quantity of map drops per bonus objective, this way you would steadily increase the chance for map drops the further into the atlas you travel.

And to Johny on the post above: I do play fairly much, i use chisels and alchs and zana mods on high red maps. per now I have:

52 : Tier 10 maps
53 : Tier 11 maps
36 : Tier 12 maps
20 : Tier 13 maps
1 : Tier 14 maps
0 : Tier 15 maps
0 : Tier 16 maps

Kinda noticeable change from tier 13 to tier 14 don't you think?
