3.8 New Queens Escape + Baron - super fast physical skeletons + zombies

I loved this build back in Delve, has much changed for it? Do you think it will be 3.6 viable?

Definitely it will be viable, but there were no noticable buffs or nerfs. No noticable uniques or even synthesis mods on rares. This build remains the smoothest levelling and easiest mapping/labbing build I've played, as well as the best value for money. It also provides a chance for you to die, and needs at least some skill in badass boss fights. It is perfectly balanced, and I love that it has been unchanged for so long. Until any alternate sources of minion speed become readily available, expect this to be top tier synergy. Minion speed is still totally under the radar for minion theory crafters (except zombie specialists, who know minion speed is the primo stat).

But, For those of us who've played skeletons for a while, even a weaker alternate build will be more appealing. I've spent the last few leagues making weird ass builds with whatever little currency I can find, and I find that more fun than kicking ass all the time. I therefore will be avoiding melee skeletons this league and trying to see if juggernauts can summon, or trying out the new inquisitor ascendency. With hatred and anger buffs, expect spectre/skeleton mage builds to make a return.

I've set myself the challenge of making a cheap SRS build the last few leagues, and failed, but I feel this league, with a 100% accuracy buff, they may be pretty good. Here's what I'm hoping is going to work:

Hello all. I've been following this guide for my first play through and I've been having a lot of fun. Forgive my ignorance but I do have a question about the Cast When Damage Taken/Immortal Call set up. Where are the endurance charges coming from? How do I tell if I have them?

Thanks for your time!

No endurance charges. shorter duration of protection, but still worth it

So I'm always thinking about this build in the back of my head each new league, seeing if there are any buffs that can push it over to edge to farm quickly and be able to stand up to uber elder well. I love the fluidity of the play style.

Last league helped a bit with the +2 to support gems craft

This league I'm seeing synthesized items with +1 gems & +1 support gems implicit modifiers (they may go higher).

Without using Pob or math, it would seem this build would be able to pull level 29-31 Skeletons (gem levels, support gem levels, lv4 Empower). Which over doubles their base life and damage.

I'd love to try it, but its not going to happen. I'm min maxing a build I made right now (Chieftain, #3 overall ES on SSC currently). Thought id put my thoughts down in here in case anyone wants to try it, probably will want to get some minion move speed on rings. But the Damage/HP boost should be huge at the end game. will make minion damage % mean more and flat damage mean less IMO.

Hey NSUCK, I did notice your 20K ES chieftan, looks darn good.

Thanks for sharing your ideas as well. Since the main weakness of this build is minion life, + levels is a good option.

I've been playing around with a life regen jugg character:
Which is turning out to be spectacularly tanky so far. Here's how it might look: https://pastebin.com/WBqx7kUg
Found Baron, Belly of the Beast and Alberon's Warpath

thinking of rolling Berserker skele and zombie summoner with phantasms in skele links, in a 5 link chest I found :)

In the current SSF HC Synthesis Flashback race

And Warcries :P
MOM and no only War banner
Won't need to do uberlab and no mana regen are no problem

Leech and CWDT + firestorm and Armageddon brand to take care of sustain when savage hit.

maybe some smite and holy relic

Grim are you still updating this build?
Updated or not this was my league starter three leagues straight. Killed Shaper and Red Elder without much trouble. Last league I played with using Geoffri's Sanctuary and Shapers Touch for some Life/ES shenanigans. Got my EHP into the 9,000 range before I respecced.

Can you please post a good passive skill tree for this league? I might want to do this again. I loved this build...

This is what I want to build around:
