[3.6] Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist

First of all, thanks for this amazing build, I'm enjoying it a lot!
I'm trying to get better pieces of equipment, what do you suggest to change?

Thanks!
This build looks really interested, I'm thinking of trying it for my next character, when I get bored with my Molten Strike duelist. Do you think you could make this build work as a Scion though? Thinking of trying it going Witch/Elementalist and Templar/Inquisitor...

EDIT:
Summed benefits of each ascendancy:
Scion
5 extra passive points
Damage pens 10% ele resists
Cannot take ele reflect dam
+40% effect Heralds
Shock increases damage at least 10%
+1 Golem

Damage pens 6% ele resists
Immune to ailments when consecrated
10%/hit to consecrate vs Rare/unique
Nearby Enemies take +10% ele dam

Witch

+10% ailment chance
+8% atk/cast spd
+75% AoE OR 75% ele dam (switches)

I'm finished and satisfied with both ele BV setups. The skill trees are interchangable, costs 7 regrets.

Self-curse temp chains Zerphi's + HH setup for mapping -

- 6.6k life
- 8% life regen while moving
- 40% attack dodge, 30% spell dodge
- 75 fire, 75 cold, 79 light res unflasked
- Herald of Ash, Ice, Thunder, Purity of Lightning
- 60% increased temp chains curse effect
- 20 second soul eater, 40 second HH buffs
- 14.5 second BV duration
- Doubled flask effect duration

- Warding flasks break the build, risk in ele weak/vuln maps
- Cannot self-curse in hexproof maps
- Not 100% ele conversion (no hrimsorrow), need to reroll phys reflect maps
- Your FPS is inversely proportional to the number of buffs you have
- Soul eater doesn't increase BV's DPS

Path of Building - https://pastebin.com/qW3RJwAw (unflasked, no shock)

Path of Building assumes shocks grant 50% more damage. In practice, an elementalist's shock grants (20*shock effect)% more damage.

Normal setup -

- 6.6k life
- 9.5% life regen while moving
- 40% attack dodge, 30% spell dodge
- Herald of Ash, Ice, Thunder, Purity (applies blind), Hatred, Clarity

Path of Building - https://pastebin.com/4ydRw1he (unflasked, no VRF, no shock)

Uber Elder setup -

- 7k life
- 9.5% life regen while moving
- 40% attack dodge, 30% spell dodge
- Herald of Ash, Ice, Thunder, Purity (applies blind), Hatred, Clarity
- Cannot be slowed base speed

Path of Building - https://pastebin.com/diAyBjeD (unflasked, no VRF, no shock)

Change these items on the normal setup -

- from Controlled Destruction to Spell Echo

- from Mark of the Shaper to Rare Ring

- from Rare Boots to Kaom's Roots

Trade damage for 'cannot be slowed below base speed' and life.

Why in the build 2 curses? How do they work at the same time?

Ascendant BV's strength is from the slayer overleech. Ascendant BV is stronger for bossing, elementalist BV for mapping. I wouldn't recommend ascendant BV if you can't afford acuities.

What I want to do with my curses -

1) I want to curse myself with Temporal Chains to increase the duration of my buffs.

2) I want to leech life and mana from enemies I curse with Warlord's Mark.

I can do both with my setup.

The mechanics are -

In one hit, the Curse on Hit Support's curses are applied first, elder/shaper mods' curses second.

1) Curse on Hit applies Temporal Chains to the enemy

2) Shackles of Wretched reflects the applied Temporal Chains to me

3) Elder ring applies Warlord's Mark to the enemy

4) The enemy loses the old Temporal Chains and gains the new Warlord's Mark because the maximum number of curses I can apply to an enemy is one.

The result -

The enemy is cursed with Warlord's Mark and I am cursed with Temporal Chains.

So, if I were adapting this build for Scion, go Elementalist/Slayer?

Yes.

This is the best ascendant BV build -

Cool, I'll take a look at that thread as well. But I like the idea of a triple herald build, which is why I'm considering adapting this build (or just doing a witch if the Scion's going to be too much work adapting).

You can play this elementalist build as an ascendant because of Path of the Witch, albeit I wouldn't go MoM as ascendant doesn't have reduced herald mana reservation.
