[3.6] Triple Herald Blade Vortex Elementalist

Hi i'm playing the non crit version and im trying to improve my tankiness atm im acro phase acro mom (around 650 unreserved mana) but i had to loose my 4link herald of ice so i eas thinking of dropping mom and going dual curse warlord's mark enfeeble and grace do you think grace/enfeeble is tankier or shall i just dont bother getting mom nor whisper of doom and just hunt for some more life cluster?

Hi, I'm on 4.9k life and I currently die a lot and not sure on what I need to do next tbh.

I'm finished and satisfied with both ele BV setups. The skill trees are interchangable, costs 7 regrets.

Self-curse temp chains Zerphi's + HH setup for mapping -

- 6.6k life
- 8% life regen while moving
- 40% attack dodge, 30% spell dodge
- 75 fire, 75 cold, 79 light res unflasked
- Herald of Ash, Ice, Thunder, Purity of Lightning
- 60% increased temp chains curse effect
- 20 second soul eater, 40 second HH buffs
- 14.5 second BV duration
- Doubled flask effect duration

- Warding flasks break the build, risk in ele weak/vuln maps
- Cannot self-curse in hexproof maps
- Not 100% ele conversion (no hrimsorrow), need to reroll phys reflect maps
- Your FPS is inversely proportional to the number of buffs you have
- Soul eater doesn't increase BV's DPS

Path of Building assumes shocks grant 50% more damage. In practice, an elementalist's shock grants (20*shock effect)% more damage.

- 6.6k life
- 9.5% life regen while moving

My first ever HC Shaper attempt & kill! :-)

Went in for a dps check and got the kill. My gear isn't that crazy, sitting only at 300-400k dps, so I had to actually do the fight mechanics :D

Cons of the build (to be less biased)

- Warding flasks break the build, at risk in ele weak/vuln maps
- Cannot self-curse in hexproof maps
- Not 100% ele conversion (no hrimsorrow), need to reroll phys reflect maps
- Your FPS is inversely proportional to the number of buffs you have

I doubt I could record a high FPS video of this build, my PC is bad. :(

- CuteDog's has 10% less curse effect (soul eater and HH buffs are more or less the same duration)
- Jugg doesn't need Kaom's Roots
- Soul eater increases Consecrated Path and Whirling Blades' attack speed, increases BV's cast speed (DPS increase to Consecrated Path, not BV)
- BV's duration is 14.5 seconds thanks to temp chains
- CuteDog has better MTX

This is absolutly insance! This + herald explosions of this build is something I have to try. Definitely will this in standard when Delve ends.

My recommendations -

1)

Choose MoM or Acro/Phase Acro, not both. Refund skill points for two more jewel sockets and Will of Blades. Socket damage jewels (i.e. ele grand spectrums) or flat life eyes.

2)

Gem setup

Inpulsa - BV (change Controlled Destruction to Concentrated Effect)
Starkonja - Whirling Blades (no change)
Hrimsorrows - Heralds (change Enlighten to Enhance if Acro/Phase Acro)
Kaom's - No sockets
Weapon 1 - CWDT - Immortal Call - Increased Duration (no change or change to Herald of Purity + Blind)
Weapon 2 - Change to Orb of Storms - Arcane Surge - Power Charge on Crit

3)

Change your boots to Kaom's Roots (for cannot be slowed below base speed) and Mark of the Shaper to a 60+ cold res and 10+ fire res ring (for 75 all res).

Uber Elder is a mechanical fight for non-Zerphi's VD pathfinders. Ele BV is a high offense, low defense, 'melee' build. You have a jugg, learn the fight on your jugg before trying on elementalist.

Because maxing your resistances can be a problem, I would recommend purchasing the temp chains enchant on a non-Starkonja helmet (i.e. Lightpoacher). Allocate 1 skill point to Alacrity (+30 dex) if you need dex.

+15% all res - Alira
+25% all res - Skill Tree

You need 95% all res from your aura, jewels, helm, rings, and weapons/shields.

You'll have sufficient mana for Purity of Elements (+27% all res) or PoF/PoI/PoL (+41% fire/cold/lightning) + triheralds because you're an elementalist.

Why does temp chains have to be a lower level?
And I guess I need 95% on all to counter ele weakness, right?
