Remove death penalty for standard league?

Umm doesnt empires grasp make so that his knockbacks actually hit people towards him? That seems very counter intuitive for a ranged squishy char.

Also do your labs. You only have normal lab done.

You don't sustain maps by playing only the easy mods.

@op - removing exp penalty is ridiculous. Neither are t1 maps endgame.


1. your rhetoric is irrelevant and you are making it sound like it's impossible to reach level 100 by playing only blue maps. The problem with playing blue maps is you are fighting the most difficult boss in the game more difficult than a twinned shaper and it's called BOREDOM.

2. Yes you can sustain maps by playing only blue maps because map drop is rng but you cannot sustain your favorite shaped maps this way.

Begs the question "what tier is sustainable running blue maps?"

tier 11 is sustainable.

My mapping pattern is I dont spend more than 3 chaos on my maps because I am poor only playing with 4 default tabs since Warband league and still I don't run out of red maps. Alching maps makes me poorer in terms of chaos and scouring because of rolling annoying and bad mods so I have to reroll them. While playing blue maps if an alch will drop and accumlate over time, I sometimes use these alch to buy zana red maps.

Sure after they remove Softcore as an option LUL
any build that has some defences is gonna be able to run a fair amount of mods up to 92-93 at which point the xp penalty is probably going to effect them if they keep running dangerous 6/8 mods.

but I think the penalty is an important mechanic if only to highlight that death matters, even if its just a little, yeah you can hit 100 running shaped X nice and safely but people also do it running a variety of maps and just taking a bit longer (in softcore)

I agree that the death penalty seems a bit pointless. I have an idea at least for adjustments:

1.) If you are able to kill whatever possibly killed you, allow for 50% of the lost experience to be re-acquired.

2.) Make it optional; Like SSF allow for people to togglethe option,to gain unique titles etc. for having the option turned on.
