Dx11 exceptions resulting in crash

Same here. Got this trouble when 3.0 starts.
in <3.0 patches didnt have problems with dx11'
now i must play on dx9ex, but there more freezes for me
I wrote Technical Support with this problem. Together we tried to fix, such as
1. re-install dx from redist PoE folder
2. deleting the production_Config.ini file (Documents/My Games/Path of Exile), and then let client re-download"
3. try switching between Fullscreen and Windowed modes

And i tried to re-instal video-drivers old and new versions.
Also tried re-install windows.

Nothing didn't help.

Hello there,

Thanks for getting back to us about this, and for letting us know.

I am truly sorry, but I'm afraid we're unable to assist further with this issue at this time, as our Customer Support department is currently overwhelmed with several thousand requests for support. I would recommend posting this on our Technical Support subforum, to see whether other players may be able to provide some assistance: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/support

I'm sorry we can't be of further assistance at this time.

Kind regards,
Rachel
I managed to play for an entire hour (without bug) with my Radeon and on Windows 10.

I'll see what happens on Windows 7.

It must be a problem of NVidia drivers.

I'll try to find some old drivers to test that too

Edit : Doesn't work with 378.78 drivers, next try with 358.50

P.S : Transale with Google.

Guys, make this test pls, trying to play without "Dynamic resolution"

I can't test today, I left my Radeon and I'm not at home.

it works by removing the option "Dynamic resolution", I play more than one hour under Windows 7 without the error!
what if both dx11 and dx9 crashes on startup?
Freshly installed windows 10 with a new SSD disk, everything has been put to default, reinstalled PoE from scratch.

And still crashing.

I've got the task manager window opened, and when it's crashing without an exception, it seems the game is losing the graphic card because no GPU information are showing in the task manager. The same happens with exceptions.

I'm also getting some log CRIT on some workers at time of crashes:

I've been checking in the ShaderCacheD3D11\d8 folder to check at least the first line key, and I couldn't find a file with that hash (d8061b8549e94fdee01a7a84e1284b6807239d4a357f4de4fb36ffaae8dbcfab).

I can't play the game, it's crashing at crucial moments like fighting abyss rare mobs.

This above - after the new update, my game crashes more often, especially at fighting abyss mobs :( Never had a crash before?
I went to the trouble of decoding that error a little while ago, and it is an E_OUT_OF_MEMORY error from the DirectX layer.

Most likely causes would be running out of GPU VRAM and shared memory, a corrupted texture or whatever that fools DX into thinking it needs GB of memory, or some sort of driver bug being triggered by PoE interacting with it.

If you are running DirectX 9, that is a 32-bit app, so has limited address space available. Try the DX11 client instead, which is 64-bit, to eliminate that. Otherwise, I'd start by killing the compiled shader cache, ensuring drivers and the dx redistributable are reinstalled and up to date, and doing a pack check or steam verification to ensure that corruption is eliminated.
I'm getting this error too since the latest patch was installed.

Doesn't matter what options I pick, even crashes on character selector screen for me.
I've tried to deactivate the turbo mode on my cpu, thinking that the slightest overclocking could induce this problem, but I'm still getting the Dx11 exceptions even without turbo mode.

So for me it could be :
- a graphic driver problem
- an OS problem
- a Dx11 bug
- a bug inside PoE
- a RAM corruption (I don't have money to test a new set of RAM)
- a graphic card RAM corruption (I don't have money to test a new GC)

I've been searching for a while now, I don't have time to search with a dichotomy algorithm for the correct driver version, I'm keeping my OS up to date so that it's secured, I've tried Dx9ex and Dx9 and I'm still getting crashes (as some other users, I've seem Pohx getting these exception this morning with Dx9ex and Dx9), and since I'm not the only one getting those crashes since 3.1....
