65,000 Armor vs Shaper
hes a guardian so he gets energy shield based off his reserved mana and armour based off his reserved life, so the more mana and life he has the more es and armour he gets. MoM has a massive amount of mana behind it.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" Yup. The MoM gives lots of mana, which I convert to ES using the Guardian Ascendancy. It's about 600 ES for 4 nodes. For the new patch 3.1, however, MoM's mana is getting nerf'd so I'm not sure I'll be using it in the future though. Also, I use Chayula's Presence unique amulet, which converts health into ES. So, both mana and life, adds ES to the build. Along life giving armor. You just get more ES pathing that route, when you are a Guardian. (⌐■_■)

Scrap that armor and get more eHP pool. Armor won't help you with most of the damage Shaper does

" You probably missed the part of the video where this happens. ![]() (⌐■_■)

" Most of the damage shaper does is pretty avoidable, so ehp against cold/ele/etc really isn't all that big a deal as long as you can cross his vortexes reasonably quickly and whatnot. High armor means it becomes very easy to shrug off his normal melee attacks without need of instant leech, and that goes a nice ways in handling him. But yeah, I wouldn't say it's the armor really doing the work in that video. That's just aegis being aegis. Last edited by Shppy#6163 on Dec 5, 2017, 4:16:13 AM
