I dont get why Russia is supposed to be some kind eternal enemy of the USA?

Trump's doing a good job on these tariffs. Normally I'm all about totally free trade and letting "comparative advantage" work but when Canada is charging us 270% on diary and other tariffs to protect their inefficiencies we need to respond in kind. Enough is enough. EU same shit.
Allies or not it's either duty free both ways or not. No one used to be able compete with USA on level playing field. Anywhere. We had lowest taxes, smartest people, and low regulation - thats why our relatively unregulated software industry is still #1, but of course you have anti-American people, mainly democrats, allow high taxes and much regulation so we suffered in some industries. Mainly losing to China and other Asian Tigers - but EU can't beat us anywhere. They have even higher taxes and regs so have to protect their perpetual fail with tariffs. It's like a band-aid over self inflicted wound you won't admit you are wrong. Socialism does not work, freedom does. Trump is saying enough is enough and won't enable these bad policies. Git R Dun! I think it's because of unhealthy practice that the US use on their cows. Mainly abundant use of hormones and antibiotics.
