1) PoE 2) TL2 3) D3 Not tested Grim Dawn yet, but i liked Titan Quest. Maybe worth a try. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore

I'm new to POE, but so far it seems the end-game is far less of a boring grind.

Like to seem either one of them move away from being so gear based and base it more off of skills. Hate having to try and constantly find a piece of gear that I need.

In the end its what type of game you like/prefer to play.
After playing both games from launch date and being a player of previous great hack n slast ARPG etc like Titan quest, Dungeon Sieges, D2 etc, I find D3 a game created for people who want to "waste" not many hours but have faster progression. On the other hand, POE needs time, need to read guides, because most of us, our 1st build was not that good as we though. Like D2, where one wrong talent input, made you to reroll the character!! As far the graphic side, I still dont understand playing Diablo with colorful areas and decorations... POE is darker, far darker, and we are talking about a new company which tries to competes a multi-billionaire one. To conclude with, I find terrible blizzards way of selling 1 character as an expansion and their latest upgrades are just LEVELING WHILE LEVELING WHILE LEVELING. PS) Grim Dawn is a very nice game also. | |

Both games are shit. D3 is shit because you can only compete if you no-life it from day 1 of a Season (non-Season is out of the question). PoE is shit because GGG trolls us with arbitrary meta shifts and more artificial difficulty than even old D3 had. Pick your poison. Welcome to 2017 gaming. |
