How about a paid account instead of free?

My idea has been for years to require a $100 deposit to play. The $100 would be refundable on request. It would be forfeited if you were caught cheating and turned over to the company as income. That would give them a motivation for going after cheaters AND get rid of all the spambots and trolls in the game.

Hard to pull off... and probably not a good business model, but it's an idea I've had for a while now.

I would gladly pay $100 just to get a better community.

We're not at "sufficient support", we're at "GGG is making bucketloads of cash".

That's the beauty of that miasma of psychological crap that "supporting" is. You can have people believe whatever you want as your company finances stay hidden and it's really hard for anyone to estimate your earnings. So you can deliver a service that is as minimal as possible as long as you can persuade the masses it's acceptable and thus maximize profitability like crazy.

I would happily pay for custom leagues every three months. Just let me play unaltered Perandus, Nemesis, Invasion and Breach leagues. Nothing mixed like Legacy, just the plain league like they were back then. No joke, if I could play Perandus or Breach with all the latest client optimizations again, even as void or ssf league, I would be the happiest player ever.

are you for real? it would take 5 months to get one cosmetic set. Was this a serious reply?

The asking price of cosmetic effects is way way way way way too high.

And I didn't mean the sub would JUST be 100 points per month. That wouldnt be worth it. I don't know, it's not my job to design sub perks or price cosmetics. All I know is they ask too much.

Way to late for that...they picked free to play and it works for them.

Also get the feeling that this is a qq trade "bots" ruining the game "solution", and a pay wall dose not work to stop them fyi (see ESO...they even had it in closed beta which was pay to enter, and botted to fuck after the launch)
