I am quitting this game because of kitava

I've seen a 90 die to it cuz he stood in the fire was uh pretty terrifying.

In principle you'd be right, but Kitava is harder than like up to T10 mapping (for white/blue maps), tbh I actually found the two zones leading up to him harder than early mapping as well. Its kinda like when they added Act 4 and you'd definitely dodge having to fight revenants if you could :p

Is very easy if you can facetank though (the maps are still easier but kitava himself is easier too)

I only read

I asked in chat how much HP i needed for kitava a10. Was told around 4.2k

I got 4.3k and utilized portals when things got sketchy (i didnt research the boss fight i sort of winged it)

I almost died a few times, once i thought i did die but got through my portal.

I put in about as little effort as possible to do it, but more than the OP. I didnt get mad and rage quit.

Ive ripped twice in HC this league both times while mapping...

Chances are your post would have gone "mapping cause me to die so i quit" had you managed kitava anyway.


Dont play HC or at a bare minimum ask someone about the last and most difficult storyline boss fight thats brand new? Even then you would have ripped mapping, guranteed. Your not suppose to play HC to live forever you know...


Also getting one shot is sort of a very old mechanic in this game...are you brand new?

You need at least 6k in Hc do do it and it is little bullshity Imo. Seen at least 3 regulars log off and never play since then in HC because of this boss.

It's a lot harder than anything up to t5+ maps.

Some builds find it a lot easier than others. Just levelled an SR trickster and it was a breeze - I could ES regen straight through the burning ground. But that was only because I could gear them, would be a lot harder on a 1st char.

I did it 5 times now with 4k - 4.5k in HCSSF. Decoy totem and a portal ready are my best advices
