Doing lab, successfully walking over a trap, only to be teleported to that trap 2 seconds later and die.

The only deaths i could call retarded are when a white mob that can't even scratch me, magically crit for like a billion damage and 1 shot me out of no where...

Many deaths, much fault on myself. I could go for the one where I ran out of my anti-bleed flask without noticing and doing malformation piety (guess the rest).... I could go for the one where I killed atziri, but she lay down stormcalls just before dying (guess who was looking at loot instead of dodging)...
But the only true BS death I had was a while back, tempest iirc. Just got home from work, turned on pc to do a quick run at dailys before heading out again. I entered Vorici's mission, and.. Poof screen overwritten by anti-virus program that sais that my update is overdue and starts updating. Can't tab out, can't alt+f4. A good 30secs-1min passed before the shock of the situation resided and I figured out that I could restart my pc. Spoiler alert!!! I was dead. |

Vagan. Yep. t13+ open world vagan battle(with difficult map mod). Not even 1 sec dialog close, BOOM. dead. I'll avoid him from now on.

" I feel this so much. I haven't tried it on HC, but uber lab farming in standard harbinger/legacy this shit has happened at least 4-6 times. Especially happens with a fast build I think, Queen of the forest with a lot of evasion + jade & stibnite with flask effectiveness, you're gonna get some weird desyncs sometimes. |

Found random harbinger and jump into the pack of mobs, game is instantly crashed, as result - instant death. This cannot be even worse.. i didnt do anything wrong, this game kills me! Fortunately i don't play on hardcore :D

Was leveling an ED char, then I decided to rush act 2 merciless before I transit to CI and equip my chayula, was getting bored of leveling a new toon and I also spent like a generous 3-4 hours farming the ledge for levels to be safer, so I was really really overleveled.
Not sure about the numbers, but I had 2k life and 3-4k ES on top of it. Wild pack of magic chaos snakes appeared, stunlocking my ass, the ED projectile did not pierce 3 times in a row and I got rekt. That was the last time I played HC. The stupidest:

Was playing together, he had some stupid expensive fated bow, he had to log off from voice chat because of his wife, we enter a Tora mission where the target is the vaal molten shell totem money haha, I was trying to type furiously in chat to abort the mission, but it was already too late. Probably when i misread a map mod with an HC char, i read phys reflect while it was ele. Died on the first pack obviously.
