Frequent and consistent lag spikes

Speed tests prove nothing tbh, it would measure the latency once, then it about how much data can get to the destination, it dose not even come close to running a test to the server as it would test to the nearest point to you to ensure the best result

You run the fucking test or not, if you don't, don't expect anything other than ridicule especially when you are necroing a thread on an unrelated issue with the same end result.

I think you should re-read my post, because it's clearly THE SAME PROBLEM, which if you'd paid any attention to what I said, you'd see that I was using the speedtest for my fucking internet, not to check the latency on the game. My internet is consistent at 100+ mbps. All I was doing was stating that it's clearly a GGG server issue causing the latency spikes, NOT my hardware or an unstable internet connection. Kindly take your attitude and shove it up your ass, if there's any room left with that stick still in there. :)

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

Game was fine around the day before christmas. Nothing was changed on PC. I can be running in game then stop for a few seconds. mines take mashing of my button, player kind of stutters as he/she/it/attackhelicopter walks a fair amount of the time. It does not matter which server I pick the results are the same. (does not matter if lockstep/auto/predict etc is on)

And maybe you should go and read the stickies and then learn how the internet actually works.

Your traffic doesn't follow the same path mine takes, or anyone else's. Just because you think you have the same problem, doesn't mean you do. Symptoms can be exactly the same but have wildly varying root causes.

As was said enumerable times already in this thread and oh so many others.

Make your own thread (It's in the first paragraph of the first sticky in this forum..seriously read the friggin stickies for cripe's sake), post the results of the test(s) that you are asked to run, or you won't get any help.

I used to have this lag problems in harbinger league, but in 3.1 I was having stable connection while playing and lag/lag spikes were rare. With the 3.1.2 patch the connection is terrible and unpredictable. It suddenly starts spiking(pretty often) and goes from 120-350 usually sometimes 600-1200ms.When I dont have lag my ms is stable around 60-70.I am playing through eu servers.
Game crashing after new patch.
I'm also seeing really bad latency spikes in the past week or so usually at night; I've been trying to do this Uber Lab trial for the last 20 minutes. I only got back into the game about a week ago, so no idea how long it may have been going on. For me it looks like I'm getting packetloss on one of the hops on Networklayer(Softlayer) transit.

Even with predictive network mode on, now I just warp lol.
Create your own thread....

Same issues on SG/JP realm, im having 80-90ms suddenly after a day 170ms spiking to 400-800ms.
Using VPN like pingzapper solves it.

It is so much easier if you create your own top-level thread, but... thanks for actually testing, not just yelling about it. I have great news: this is an easily fixable problem for you:

You need to call your ISP tech support, tell them you are having packet loss between your modem/router and their network, and if they ask how, tell them / show them that WinMTR trace.

They should be able to get their techs to fix whatever is causing packet loss there, and then PoE - and everything else on the Internet - will perform better. :)

(I say "easily fixable" because, compared to any of the other things it could be, this is the simplest and most direct to get fixed, and should cost you nothing to boot!)

I would just like to also voice my opinion that this latency spiking issue is clearly a Path of Exile server error because I get frequent spiking and I know it's neither my computer hardware nor my internet.

With absolutely no proof, the only reasonable conclusion here is:

Spoiler
