This is exactly why reflect is such a terrible mechanic. If you want to make a powerful life based character, a sweet spot between offense and defense is impossible. Dying to offscreen is the cheapest mechanic ever.

And with ES Vaal Pact builds gone, reflect will ruin 3.0

It's not only possible to make a reflect safe strong life based char, but also easy.

It's obvious where his problem was - emphasis on damage and skill fully buffed by 6L at early levels, along with ridiculously low HP.
Reflect is designed to hard counter exactly this kind of builds.

He plays HC the way he's used to do on SC and it's a recipe for disater.

He has 1.7k life in NORMAL difficulty lab. I get that's it fun for HC players to shit on SC players, but come on now.

To be fair, it's the unique mob that reflects 100% dmg of both ELE and PHYS. SO this isn't exactly a good example of standard reflect. However, that mob is total bullshit and should be removed :D

Well, it doesn't matter which lab it was, as we are about reflect. Of importance is his level and items compared to his overall HP. Along with his defenses.

I don't know which level he was, but if you take a look at his items you'll notice that he potentially has HP rolls only on jewels and belt, and it's inevitably low rolls (low tier rolls).
He's shadow, which means he got low strenght and naturally low access to HP nodes.
He's full yolo on damage with no defences.

I assume he entered lab over levelled, hence his HP, which you consider high. But it's actually low.

Reflect sucks. Reflect as map mod? Ok, we get a warning. Reflect on a mob? Who the frack mouses over to see this on every single mob? Reflect on mobs are retarded.
