[3.6] Milky's Scorching Ray Totems (updating process)

Thanks Milky! This is awesome as usual! :) This is the 3rd time I use this build. I can't bore with it!

I would like to ask one simple question. You mention to use ice/lighning trap to debuff boss (I think because of aliment). But why use trap? Doesn't do trick the Orb os Storm about the aliment debuff?

I think the reason is that you cant proc EE/EO with OoS while you have Ancestral Bond skilled.
To proc this you need a trap.

Also thats the reason why you can get rid off the trap when you unskill AB.

tala moana exile !

dyadian dawn only works for ignites. It lets the ignite deal the damage faster.
Still a good starting belt with the good life and dual resists!

ich lass mich net ärgern ;)

A trap is needed to debuff Elemental Equilibrium.
I usually unspecc ancestral bonds when i have a soulmantle, this way no more trap is needed and Orb of Storms does the jobs.

No kikazaru/self-flagellation in general allows the use of 2 other rings and a rare jewel. However curses NEED to be removed with curse removal flasks (1 or 2, stibnite flask is good for that with the 3 uses and low charge requirement).

Pyre just add a ton of reliable dmg, while self-flagellation is a bit spikey from time to time.

In the end opal rings with life are more solid than pyre, but more expensive

family time now, will answer further questions later ;)

Skilltree lvl 76

just a small update. boots bought for 1 alch and 3 alchs later i got the stats.
belt for 2c and gloves for 3c. Finally overcapped without purity, but with the use of some ele resist jewels.

now its time for a break

Hello milky! Been enjoying your build recently, if i wanted to craft an ideal scepter for this build, should i be looking for the increased elemental damage with attack skills prefix?

inc ele dmg with attacks does nothing, since our skills are no attack skills.

You want firedmg% and burningdmg% like my sceptre has. On top you can mastercraft damage over time%.

Those are the important stats. Castspeed, spellcrit and so on are not needed, but can have some minor benefits if it happens to be on the item.

What is pro/con of replacing Kikazaru rings/SelfFlagellation jewel with Pyre rings?

pyre ring is for leveling

if elemental focus blocks elemental aliments, so it blocks burning?
so what the reason to use burning damage support in armor?
or ignite =/= burning damage?
wot is better

shield charge + faster attack |+ fortify

or

lightening warp + faster casting + less duration

warp is better for quick move

charge give fortify

just some atziri

didnt record the rest for a short upload, easy as usual, nothing special

There are different kinds of burn. Ignite is one of them and the only one that is a elemental ailment

the one you like more.

On a berserker shield charge can reach an acceptable speed, i prefer that one
