Rico, would it be safe to run Orb of Storms + Power Charge on Critical + Curse on Hit + Elemental Weakness or would that interfere with the unique mechanics of EE, overload, or the charge system in general.

And if you had the option for a 6th link on the Kingsguard, would you recommend additional accuracy or culling strike, assuming you had devoto's devotion and 20% cooldown recovery speed on waist already.

i played that Orb of Storm, crit, curse on hit, ele weakness setup on my last RF char and i can say that doesn't work here (as you said because there are interference with EE)

need to try it with something else like Frostbomb (stays longer if power charges are up).

Got just a 5 Link chest but i think i would go for Accuracy :D culling is fine for bosses but normal mobs die just instant :D

i think i give my fire golem to a unset ring :D and try the ele weakness setup later :D (i'm already resi capped so i guess it's fine)

1. Orb of storms can be used. Discharge triggers right after cyclone hit. Orb of storms would only mess up ee chain for targets outside of cyclone hit range but those are allready mess up by discharge alone. Charge generation wont be disturbed it may actualy give you additional charge here and there.

2. Add Accuracy if you wont go above 4.7 aps with it.

I have a pair of "+1 to Level of Socketed Gem" Repentance and after using Level 4 Enlighten for PoF, PoI, PoL, I have 148 mana left after mana reserve. My mana regen per second is 35.2. I tested to run without Blood Magic and it seemed to work. The 5L Cyclone skill requires 21 mana. Given the above stats, is it safe for me to take away Blood Magic and run everything with mana? If it is safe to do so, what would be a good gem to replace Blood Magic as the 6th link, Culling Strike or Blind or something else? Perhaps a red or blue gem is better as it is hard to get 4 green 2 red on Kingsguard.

Appreciate any advice given.

Yes. You wont facetank double lameblast and many yellow storm calls at once but it allows to tank a few to have some margin of error. It is quite mobile with decent movement speed, fast shield charge and leap slam. You should reach around 6k hp with this build around lvl 93, that together with Fortify (with 25% increased effect of fortify) and high maximum resistances (75 + 1 + 4 + 4 = 84 fire, 75 + 4 + 4 = 83 light, UNFLASKED) and very good life recovery (intant ~2.5k/s via Kingsguard + 650+ life regen). Just dont use RF vs TRIO or floor degen will rape you.

got lucky again last night and on my first uber lab run with newly acquired helm got the discharge damage enchant.
Switched the boots to reinforce my golem so he actually lives through t15/16 maps, its not so much that casting him by hand is hard, its the fact that he dies literally every 6 seconds, and usually when im in the middle of spinning, cant stop in the middle of 48 mobs to cast, so now that 20% damage boost stays on atleast.



I then moved elemental weakness to my shield and replace leap slam, same hotkey aswell MB4 so its seamless on the boss, just tap mouse button 4 and spin to win, will keep an eye out for intresting 4 link options for the boots since I dont use RF but I had already downed Shaper with the old useless 4L so its just extra at this point.

Eventually going to swap to scold's too when I can get the discharge enchant on one, staying with my discharge devoto's until then.
Well I recomended Scolds as end-game go-to helmet not only because it gives 90+ spell dmg but also because you’re being constantly hit by it (yes it counts as a hit). And that has a synergy with Unflinching. But at the same time Devotos with 40% discharge dmg is also extremely good for end game.

@skybox81 thats one hell of the helmet.
