Best HC SSF build for a new league? Opinions?

I've tried it in breach before burning my vid card. Was my first build on which I didn't die to merc Malachai and on which I managed to do merc and uber lab solo before lvl 70.

I'm sure it's strong, but no guarantee of Carcass Jack, Hidden Potential and especially Breath of the Council playing SSF. Especially in HC.
Even getting some of the dex gems is awkward as mara.

Probably flameblast.

Maybe life / hybrid flameblast if ES is going to get hit badly in the patch notes. The thing with flameblast is, you need very little gear investment to make it work besides elreon rings. And you don't even need elreon rings if you use the flameblast totems.

flameblast totems elementalist unless weird balance happens to either flameblast or totems.

Firestorm is super cheap(SSF viable) and can clear T14's without too much trouble.

Chieftain Totems. RF, SW, FB, flame whatever. Get a shit load of life, life regen like 10%, and armor and can walk trough traps in lab and totems do work.

Then you'll die to DC lol. But the 10%+ life regen/armor should keep you alive through most freezes and DCs. Its at high level the 1-2 shots will kill.

Hows that work SF? Have to have a specific unique "hidden potential" . and yes hidden potential will be the GGest single find playing self founded.

Can wear all blue gears which is easy to make T1 life/T1 resit and do shit loads of DPS (and all double dips for now)

Done similar build in BHC. Got to 68, went to maps got bored stopped playin PoE all togather. (Waiting for more time/something more interesting)

All gear i have on this inq was some junk i found along the way to merciless. Mapping was very easy with this trash gear (just tried to have res capped)

5l is probably enough to go to end yellow maps. You get rest dmg from crits and burn.

Very easy to gear very easy to play.

I really enjoy Shadow/Saboteur Fire Nova Miner.

It's different and fun. Mana is a pain in the ass until you take your necessary regen nodes...but by cruel usually you are cruising. Good AOE and single target (especially if you swap in conc effect for bosses).

I really enjoy the build. I am solo gearing it right now on breach on a test run. So far so good. Level 60 in Merc act 3. No problemos so far.

I died once, but it was my own fault. (Softcore noob here...but it definitely works for hardcore).

my personnal favorites are,
2 handed slayer and
freeze assassin or occultist

it's very straighforward, and non-unique dependant

As SSF, spellcaster is recommanded, since it does more consistant damage while leveling in case you don't find good weapons
