A more trade forum with sub categories would be a relatively simple start. But I wholeheartedly think that the AH killed "that other game", making it way too easy to get to endgame and normalizing the economy way too fast. That's my 2 cents.
@to all people after my last post

Are you all retarded and can;t read with understanding ?
I really didn't ask for your bitchass opinion. This is a suggestion forum so I am suggesting Trading House and Im giving you a PROPER reason why to do that. And what do I hear ? bunch of retards that either didn't read my post or didn;t want to understand THE REASON for it.

@vmrob
Of course most of my gear was from AH (when I played D3). So what ? If there was no AH then I would probably quit 2x earlier because there was nothing to do except lame grind all over and over. Unfortunately, PoE got similar issue.

Why do you all want so badly to waste time ? Don;t you people have families and more important - LIFE ?
I play games for fun, to unstress myself, for a little competition (pvp, etc.) and thats pretty much it. I refuse to waste my time on browsing forums/chat for some trade as well as I refuse "endless grind + rng + exp penalty on death". I don't want to foretell the future or anything like it but lot of players will quit sooner or later because of those issues.

It is very sad that PoE has this refreshing ideas like skill-tree or skill gem system and at the same time it applies bad ideas like "chat trading" or "end-game-rng-grind-house" (which by the way was also the thing that killed D3). And for what ? To make itself more hardcore with the cost of non-hardcore players ? <sigh>

Maybe you should go play d3 again then, I heard they made the game even easier.

The people over here at PoE don't want the game to be easy.

Oh god, yeah. You definitely don't need to play Path then. This game gets my blood pressure through the roof and my pulse is just crazy when I enter a new area. That again, I'm also playing on hardcore.

This was never designed with a stress free game-play in mind.

Why do people come from Diablo to play PoE, then ask for PoE to become lame-assed Diablo?

Why not just play the game that already has the auction house you desire?

Boggles the mind.
BIG NO
To the people having an aneurysm over an "auction house"...

You do realize that there is a difference between an "auction house" and a "real money auction house", don't you?

The former is just about in any MMO-type game. The latter isn't anything new (been around since 2003), but not in many games.

Auction house, bazaar, marketplace, vendor... Take your pick with regard to a name. From my understanding they are working on a quick-fix for easier selling until a permanent system can be put in. Public stashes tabs or something like that is the quick-fix (?).

P.S. -

People are buying gear and consumables in huge numbers via 3rd party sites, anyway. There is a very popular site, that I'm sure many of you know about, that has a farmer (likely a company) making 40+ POE transactions per day on only that site. It's just going to happen. No way to get around it. Not really a big deal, in my opinion.
