It's not a man or woman issue, so stop spouting that feminism crap. It's a life issue. The decision to have a baby is made when at the moment you decide to have sex. You can take all sorts of precautions not to get pregnant, but there's still a chance based on how well the pill is working in your system, how well that condom held up, or where you are on your cycle. You can't guarantee the prevention of getting pregnant unless you choose not to have that sex in the first place.

If I were to impregnate my wife, we would never opt for an abortion, even if a baby isn't "convenient" in our lives right now. There's always adoption if you can't bring yourself to support a baby. Any location designated as a "Safe Haven" will accept anonymous drop offs of newborns, such as hospitals and churches. There's no excuse for abortion when you're only a victim of your own choices.

Just to be clear, if someone is convinced that abortion is state-sanctioned killing, then your statement reads like this:

"So you think having homeless people just walking around is much better than killing them?"

... and it obviously doesn't work. Of course everyone laments the plight of unwanted, possibly orphaned children, but that doesn't imply the correct solution is to kill them.

Pretty much everyone agrees that abortion is fine up until a certain development threshold. Arguing about where to draw the line or asking for more data on fetal brain development is fine. But ya'll waste effort arguing about the stuff that the media has trained you to argue about, with one side referring to literal babies being murdered and another side referring to a dime sized glob of goo. And then somehow it turns into a man vs woman thing.

Stop being so easily manipulated. The left vs. right rhetoric here is a distraction and a fake issue to divide voters.

This is not a fight between ultra religious never abort nutbags vs. abort at 9 months because its my body nutbags, nor is it an issue between men and women.

All this fringe vs fringe fighting is fucking retarded hysteria and it's absolutely tragic to see people so readily place themselves into one of two mostly identical political parties due to stupid/irrelevant issues taken to extreme hyperbole like abortion.

We don't have a choice on the real issues so they drum up these social/cultural fights between extreme fringes that are irrelevant to everyone else, but somehow it works and even causes people to rabidly attack/denounce the "opposing" political party. It's ridiculous.

Those aren't my own personal beliefs and I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. Just trying to have a discussion instead of a circlejerk, but you seem unwilling or unable.
