Trump dont have control over foreign intel. One of those 5 eyes allies could frame up trump nicely. Let alone arch russia enemies like estonia/latvia intel agencies. They already have

The ice cream part is dumb, I'll give it to you.

But the fake Times cover? That's just show his egomania. That and for someone crying about fake news, making a fake news like that is hilarious.

Because it is likely that Trump photoshopped them himself? Or is it that he asked his employees to do so? With 14 Time covers, they would go and manufacturer some more? How does that look for your chances of getting fired by Trump if he finds out they are fake?

Anyone that doesn't suspect these were a plant by someone wanting to sabotage Trump is either naive or being disingenuous.

Why would anyone think Assange is a sex predator? Even the Swedes dropped the charges for lack of evidence.
Actually, they dropped it for lack of extradition. Swedish authorities are on record stating that, if Assange enters Sweden before statutes of limitation apply, he may be recharged.

If Sweden still exists by then.

Okay, strangely out-of-character conspiracy theory aside, you should acknowledge that this isn't necessarily out of character for Trump, who has shown time and again an ability to overstate facts to bolster his own ego.

I wouldn't say it would be out of character for him to put the pictures up in a prominent place if they were shown to him. I also don't doubt that he wouldn't bother verifying their authenticity. If they had been blown up into giant wall sized posters, then I would say that doesn't match the other pictures he typically has.

The recent Time covers certainly aren't flattering, but if you look at Trump's pattern of speaking it is to stretch the facts, not manufacturer them out of whole cloth.

Shit, maybe it was all just a little joke. Who knows? Either way, it's from pre-President Trump who was, by most measures, quite the smarmy, egotistical, dirty old arsehole no matter who you asked...because he hadn't committed to a political ideology at that point. Or rather, hadn't found one rotted away enough that he could use it.

I've no idea (other than media stories) what Trump was like in 2009. I can say with confidence that had you met and known him many years earlier than that, your opinion of him would be vastly different than it is now. His private persona (at least then) is nothing like his public persona. Time and circumstance could have changed him into a different person, but I don't think so.

As I said earlier, Dalai, I don't think the daycare staff are complicit. I think at least one El Paso area family routinely talks about killing Trump and most El Paso area families speak negatively of him in a manner consistent with mainstream media coverage. That's what it takes to get a a child to popularize a chant like that at a daycare. I do think it would be impossible without the MSM's constant attacks, but more as a symptom of propaganda than the original propaganda. Like the telephone game applied to propaganda, if you will.

I've been saying it since mid-November: the MSM has taken propaganda to mind-control levels by adding social media echo chambers as reinforcement mechanism. I just thought, naively, that Texas would be more resistant to it. I haven't met anyone here worthy of the label libtard (except my ex, who is from Michigan originally); the Democrats I've met seem sane and reasonable. Still, I told me so.

Regarding Elmo, well, that's HBO now, right? So that limits the damage considerably, since Sesame is a luxury product these days.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
