no actually what we've got here is a kid that believes the devs of PoE are gods...even though they nrf just about everything they put out...(dead giveaway but oh well)

If the PoE Devs were gods, I would ask them to do something about people like you. Since theyre not gods, I would like to thank them for being great game developers. Even though I dont agree with every design choice or change they make to the game, this is the best game ive played in a long, long time. I wouldnt care to leave comments on the forum if it werent true.

"they failed to understand game mechanics" ...of a game that changes by the months? which patch are you referring too?

So the specific mechanic were talking about here, is Vaal Orbs, you know, the one in the original post you're complaining about. The one that you created this thread for. You should really be able to stay on topic especially when you created it.

The last change to Vaal Orbs was in patch 1.1.1 released on March 14, 2014. Your account was created May 15, 2016. That means the entire time your account has been active, the Vaal Orb has done the same thing. Even if you have another account, thats still more than 2 years without a change, and yet you're going to try to have us believe that you didnt know what a Vaal Orb did because of the game changing mechanics too often? I cant believe you even tried to use this as a counter argument. Its clear now that youre literally grasping at anything to keep your head above water.

If GGG patched an update to Vaal orbs so that a Vaal orb couldnt totally brick an item i wonder what your little voice would be towing

Can someone else help me out here? I'm not really sure what he even meant here.

Heres my best shot at trying to understand what youre trying to say here. I think what youre trying to say is that because I think GGG develpoers are gods, then I would be fine with the change?

Well, as i stated before, I love the game, and I think they are great game develpoers, but of course theyre not gods and no I dont agree with every change they make. You can even go through my forum posts if you feel the need to. Ive voiced plenty of my dislikes before. As far as Vaal Orbs go, no, they should not be changed. If you couldnt brick an item, there would be no reason not to Vaal an item. This game is about Risk/Reward. Something you seem to fail to understand.

The funny thing about this entire thread is that there is a pretty good indication that you RMT'd your item and pretty much everyone here can see or has voiced their agreement on this point. So as I said earlier, you decided to cheat, you screwed up your item because you didn't learn how to play the game, and now you want to complain to try to feel justified for losing your money. You were looking for consolation, but trust me, you wont find it here, not from anyone who actually understands and plays the game.

So far all you've done is try to call people names, use stereotypes and just act childish in general. I think you realize that you've screwed up because many people have figured out that you RMT'd your item and now you are trying to turn the topic away from that point because you don't want to get caught by GGG.

What I really want to hear from you though, is your response on the topic of your RMT'd brick weapon. Unless I missed it, I havent seen you talk about it once. Put up one post about it. Defend it, Say you didnt RMT, admit that you did, I dont care. But I want to hear what you have to say about it. I'll bet other people want to know as well.

I was also wondering about that, but it's pointless: He cannot admit to RMT'ing and nobody will believe him if he says he didn't. So what can he write? Best to write nothing...

True, but he doesnt seem to be a particularly "gifted" individual, so maybe...

What's a "millennial"?

People born as early as early 80s of the past millennium. more often than not, following political correctness and hiding from opposite points of view in their safe spaces. Sometimes also identified with social justice warriors.

Making a huge leap in logic there. You aren't much better than OP.

Millennials describe people born from the 80s to 2000, although specifications of who is millennial, gen x, gen y, whatever are up for debate (mostly because these are just simple labels for generations and don't hold a lot of value outside of what the specific holder wants them to have.

Anyway, OP bringing up millennials is just more deflecting to the increasing likelier odds that they RMT'd their item that they are bitching about now (ironic that people that complain about other generations are usually whining about something they don't like themselves besides the "problem generation that complains about things"). There is plenty of studies that for the most part will show generalizations about different generations are just utter bs from the generation that wants to complain about others. Almost willing to bet OP is actually in their 40s-50s as others are assuming they could not possibly be with that attitude. Seems too easy for OP to RMT their items because they believe they "earned" it by being able to buy it with cash from their "hard work and actually meaningful job" and just piss and moan at "millennials" who have little/no job and play games 24/7 and thus encourage anti-RMT rules.

But we are making hasty generalizations about other generations, so I could be wrong. :)

Wow, why is this still going! OP is a moron, Vaal orbs are fine and fun.
Nothing more needs to be said.

What is RMT'ing? Are you requesting that I post the item that the disfavor turned into after i destroyed it? I don't have it I vendored it. In fat I don't have anything anymore I gave everything away.

Also. When I first made my account i played for like a week. didn't come back until about 2 months ago. The facts are the facts.

Thought a vaal orb could either remove a stat give a stat or do nothing at all. Knowing now of course what they are capable of one has to scratch their head and wonder why the actual fuck anyone would ever try to use one

Why? Because they can ruin items... but also make them insanely more powerful. For example, your Disfavour could have gotten Culling Strike. It could have rolled +2 weapon range. It could have rolled a white socket. It could have rolled added flat chaos damage (which is nice if your build uses poison).

Real Money Trading. As you had no high level characters when you posted this, but had the most expensive axe in the game, people assume you bought it somewhere.

I would love an answer to my post on page 7 (http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1801861/page/7#p14026786). It was actually meant seriously.

See ya,
