Just read the patch notes and had to pop a couple of anti-psychotic pills. I have the unique talent of crafting builds that suck or borrowing builds that are sure to be nerfed. I'm just addicted enough to keep playing the game . . . but with each nerf . . . comes a nerf to my wallet and buying supporter packs. Thanks ggg, with the money I've saved from not buying a supporter pack . . . I can go buy Grim Dawn to drown my sorrows over another new-league-build that will never be. Sigh/tear stain/ reach for another crazy med

You have no challenges completed, try playing in temp leagues and do new builds every league, you can play your busted builds there, they never nerf builds while the league is going.

Pathfinder still busted, cospris still busted, no changes to vinktars, no changes to vaal pact.

Exactly this. Most people want to grab a guide from the forum and wreck with a build that they find fun. All these nerfs are just making less and less builds end game viable and forcing people to play even fewer variations.

I spent a lot of time playing Mjolner builds in Essence. I even bought 4 of them just so I could try dual wield weapon swap. I was determined to prove it was still viable. And it was. Eventually. Just. At 10 APS. Certainly not abuse-level fun, but fun nonetheless.

But now? A tough-to-equip slow weapon with poor pdps and 4 casts a second on a 3 socket?

For me Mjolner was and always should be, a 'weapon of the gods'. Its back-story is a big part of the reason I was so fond of it and why I am so disappointed at this change.

What we have now is a far cry from a weapon of the gods. Either rework the weapon entirely or rename it to something more suitable, like 'pew pew stick'.
