I'm getting some flashy disco artifacts around certain mobs, probably any ribbon with an overlay/special shader. This is a rare ribbon in my screenshot. So far I've only sighted this in the Solaris Temple. It comes in when the mob is close to being rendered. It seems to get more insane the closer to the center of the screen the root is, eventually being the only thing I can see. Hard to say for sure, but it seemed that me getting hit excaberated things, or if it was that particular mob's attack.

Small update, it's not just ribbons, just certain rare mobs. It's also not confined to any map type that I can tell. I didn't happen to catch what mods were on the monsters in case that matters.

Yeah, I'm getting something similar but it appears to be location specific. Given that it looks like triangles radiating from a single point I'm guessing a lighting issue?

Just encountered something similar, likely a shader / particle problem.
 (poor me had to switch back to an old 4:3 monitor after my other ones died) This was from a corrupted essence mob in crematorium, summoner guy. I just had a purple disco effect on a yellow Precinct.. it SEEMED to happen when i attacked some blue spiders(pics), after the usual XP loss on bosses i switched characters to finish the map and did not encounter that purple(chaos?) disco again.
First character was Ansa_Antsa who uses a Voltaxic and that purple colour seemed to be the same as the one that is beeing used on chaos. spidermods:

Also having this issue pop up from time to time after that last update.
x64 version, on an AMD Radeon HD 5770. It seems to happen more often if I make the mistake of using alt+enter to go from full screen to windowed mode.  Happens in Town as well.  | |

happens to me as well. first i thought it was my buddies arctic armor MTX when it did it during atziri trio. Same problem, but mostly black shapes.
 Doing mostly in candle light spaces like Enlightened HO, Crypt, Sceptre of God. Appears on enviroment objects or on my character. Also Vorici had this issue while moving knives in Enlightened HO.
