End of the world as we know it..?

Here's what I really think:

Your tinfoil hypotheses, for the most part, suck. At a minimum they'd need research that leads to confirming evidence for them to be with anything.

But I think there's an easily understood reason why you guys have tinfoil hypotheses, when recently you didn't. That same easily understood reason is why you sense this feeling from other people, resonating with your own. That reason is: you're awake now. Your critical thinking switch just got set to "on," and instead of simply swallowing whatever reasoning is set before you, you are really trying to understand things. You are hypothesizing wildly, with low accuracy, as if rediscovering a skill you haven't used in a while.

I'm saying these hypotheses are crap, but don't let that discourage you. Continue to try to connect all e dots, and temper this with researching these links to confirm or disconfirm. Iterate on past failures to refine your skill.

Someone might say I'm crazy for hanging around with conspiracy kooks. "They're wrong." Well, they generally are. But I can tell that there actually trying, which already makes them better that sheep.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
silly D3izhistory

we all know the world as we knew it ended in 2012. gotta give it to the mayans and their wicked prognostication.

or, no, that was 2000. my bad, i'm 100% sure it was 2000

hell i'm 2000% sure it was 2000

whew, y2k sure hit us hard didn't it folks?

People underestimating nature is all i see.

From my point of view, there is one thing that's troubling and that's the fact that grown adults actually support a view on the world as a whole where infinite exponential growth is plausible and desirable.

No clue what retard started that fab idea.

People seem to have this weird notion that growth is one-dimensional and desirable at any point of time.
To bad that's not how the cookie crumbles.

This is probably the best explanation as to why more than just myself think we have reached that tipping point. I am hardly a young kid at older than 30 currently, i dont get alarmed very easily

A big part of me wants the world to end to a certain degree because of how poisoned it has become (and no i am not christian) but like the hypothetical flood and Noah this world needs to be cleaned and started over. I sure hope i see this in my lifetime...

The Wheel of Nerfs turns, and builds come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the build that gave it birth comes again.

as always to the point. sadly the "socialism we had" isn't any better, just slower.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
Why kill capitalism when it's the only way to socialism? With a bit of luck we won't kill the planet entirely and will actually ride the capitalism train until post-scarcity. Believe.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

while not bad in theory, capitalism has been abused to the point of creating the 2008 economic meltdown- millions lost jobs, homes, life savings, working till death all the while the 1% became the 0.01% - nty

Without the bailout the world would have slowly learned its lesson and improved but it did not unfortunately. there will be bigger problems ahead

I agree in principle, although things aren't looking exactly pretty right now.
