unused beta codes should...

Idea is great ! And if they are worried about the player number what is logging in game. I dont think like number will be so big like they can't handle with it. Alot of peolpe here is working. living in different time zones and have some others staff to do.That will decrees player count on server. But the number will be the same.

Its only my opinion.

Your suggestion sounds good, although it doesn't account for players who don't log in and/or use the forums. Only a very small percentage of a games userbase actually use the forums...this would be pretty unfair for the majority of players who have applied.

Yea, that's all true, we aren't all from the same location, but there's always prime time and that's around 1800 gmt+1 in almost every game.

But incase it happens, like the server reach a big amount of people, a big number, there are solutions, like just accepting X amount of connections (players) that connect to the server box through X port, which would be the game server port.

So if they are worried, they should start sooner or later to worry about their community, because the fast it went up, the faster it will go down by the less effort you show you're doing, you need to show your community and attract players before final release, show facts that you want this really fair for everyone, and actually it isn't because there's 1 active user playing out of 4 (round number no decimal) in total which mean 3 unactive ones won't play for X time.

750+ keys were sent and a max of 100 people were logged in the same moment, as I've read earlier in Twitter.

I expect like 200 (or less) active users have their accounts activated for the closed beta currently. so we can reach 2.000 sent beta codes and 600 active players. only 1/3,5 (round number with not accurate decimal) players are playing.

and it should be 1 sent key with no activation and other 3 playing. all the opposite.

unfair? why? explain in detail.

edit: people that check forums daily should get beta key, because thats an extra player that you know that will collaborate. giving a key to someone that haven't logged in for months, what's the reason? where's the profit? while others that actually want to help are waiting. thats disrepectful, understand me? I finally had to tell this which I didn't want to.

anyways we need to clarify what does this mean..

"753 people have beta access" that's what pathofexile's twitter said, if that means 753 were sent, then GG. you have 750+ keys sent and 100 logged in the same moment. (tweeted this 1h ago)

I agree 100%, I even noticed people who have not even been on for almost a year now, had received beta keys!
