unused beta codes should...

...Be sent to any other active user that logged in these past few weeks/days.

Let me introduce myself.
Me as a database administrator and code developer (C, java, delphi, asp, php, etc. my knowledge in computers is very big I must say) I can tell this is such an easy task to do.

I'll leave this idea here to the major staff, and make it easy for everyone to understand how it works, so then we all can share opinions of what everyone thinks about this.

And the idea is.
After X amount of time, a script should run checking which beta key code that was sent but haven't been used in the last 24hours (per example, a fair amount of time would be 48hours at max) then that key should be sent instantly to the next active user (someone that logged in 2 days ago per example), so then we avoid to keep inviting users that no longer want to play this game, users that lost faith in this game or gods know why, for what ever reason.

Explanation of what this can do.
This way we'll end looking for and reporting any found bug way faster because the invitation system will be giving unused keys to someone that is waiting daily, that means we'll end playing the game fully way sooner.

Don't get me wrong, let me explain myself in detail.
I'm not saying this system of giving beta keys is bad, it is actually good, but inviting people that logged in March, 14, 2011 and last login was the exact same moment... that kinda makes me feel bad (and it didn't just happen once, it happened a lot of times and last and upcoming user didnt log in for the last 6 months)not bad because I didn't get the key, I feel bad for the rest of people, because that key should of been sent to someone that actually is waiting for a key, someone that is actually excited to get in game and cooperate, cooperate as another beta member and help this game raise to the top as soon as possible, to be fully released, to be working totally without any bug.

I hope you understood my point of view, I'm just trying to help, (can't you tell? haha by this long essay.. lol :p) helping as making this improve in any way I can think of. This can be posted by someone else maybe, I didn't look if some other idea like this one is posted somewhere in this forum, but I'm not going to bother to look into hundreds of thousands threads, sorry.

Do you agree with this idea or not?
People that don't support this idea just post -1 and tell why you don't support this idea, and people who DO SUPPORT just post +1 and tell why you do support this idea.

PS. Acceppting criticism about this idea, I am an open minded person, not a narrow minded one, we can discuss this. If I missed something don't hesitate to ask or tell me anything I should know. I am looking forward this game. (even if I have almost no time to play, but the little time I have I really want to spend it into gaming hehe)

As GGG have said again and again, how do you know they are inactive? Plenty of people lurk on forums and don't log on / post.

Yea how do I know if they are inactive or not? they don't log in, they don't even want to collaborate and/or share ideas which is critical in alpha/beta stage.

We are in beta phase, it is all about making the game improve, and yet those people just want to play, okay I know, not everybody can or want to share ideas.

Okay, now since we don't know if they are dead or alive, what about making this clear, we need to make this sure and clear for everyone.

The key that was sent to an user whose account was created in March 14 2011 (per example) and last moment he logged in was EXACTLY the same moment, we need to make sure that code is going to be used, so if the beta key code is not used within 24, 48, 72 hours at max (to make it fair) should be sent to someone who is active (so then we ensure everyone that 99% of keys that are sent will be used, otherwise what's the reason of sending thousands of keys for no reason? for no profit? that's ridiculous.)

i agree with this...i posted in a friends thread saying pretty much the same thing..

only i proposed a 72hr wait and then it is given away...

this would make it fair for the people waiting for a key and not those who havent logged in for a while

Hahahaha, I posted 3 minutes before you did, lol thats a big coincidence.

well after all thats common sense, if GGG really want to make it fair, they should of done this, and if they dont want to clutter the servers that fast, what about just accepting X amount of connections to X port in the server box? (game server port ofcourse) incase there isn't yet a simple button or command to make it happen for the game server software, haha.

I agree

I am the agree.
chances of getting a beta key 0.000001 %
Yes let those who are active get the codes.
This is something I posted in this thread.

I think I should add this here since its a little bit summed up for the people that don't really want to read this long essay.
