Cant play, no maps
" So you're level 90 or 95 or 99 and expect to keep running white and yellow maps? derp. A streak of bad luck and you're back to T11. The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

" Where, exactly, in that process do I get to see Uber Atziri? Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

"By farming Apex I guess. You can usually get a full Uber set in ~ 50 runs of Apex (sometimes less, sometimes more if RNG is fucking you). If your build can handle Uber Atziri, then running Apex should be a breeze. U MAD?

Well, yeah, I think personally it takes more than 50 runs of apex to get a hope. Maybe it's just me but I'm lucky if I get a hope every 75 or so? Not sure, I never kept records. THEN having never done uber before you will most likely muck it up and blow first set. Maybe 2nd, depending on how realistic your view of why you failed is.
Of course now, with that last hope card falling all over the place, it's a bit easier. Maybe Atlas came too late and/or new maps weren't enough of a change? Just musing. When it came out I was horribly underwhelmed by essence and played mostly in standard but I wanted to explore ALL the new maps so I didn't run my high lvl leg maps, I ran low ones, bought them from Zana etc. Censored. " True, it is a breeze. I can do it fast and efficient. So fast and efficient, it probably would get boring after 10 runs. Now assuming it takes me 4-5 minutes for a run (I would take another character than the one that is Uber capable, because that one has more move speed), that means that I would be farming 200-250 minutes (3.5-4 hours) for one try at Uber Atziri. That is, if I have 50 Midnights, Dawns, Dusks, and Noons lying around. If I don't, I have to farm them. Which takes much longer than 5 minutes, more on the order of 30 minutes - if I do have infinite Vaal orbs, that is. Which I don't. Then it is on the order of 1500 minutes to get one shot at Uber Atziri (which is about 25 hours of game time). Without the Vaal orbs, it would take probably 5 times as long. At that point, it becomes obvious that the fastest method (and the least RNG bound, I have friends who have zero Hopes after 120+ Atziri runs) is to just outright buy the set. Which is around 3 Exalt on Standard at the moment. Now, I do not know about you, but it takes me some time to farm up 3 Exalt. So where is the "obvious and simple task to give you access to the content" now? Well, technically it may be simple (though it is not obvious which is the fastest way to farm currency), for example you could just run Dried Lake until you have enough currency. It is also mindbogglingly boring. At the end, you are rewarded with one try at Uber, which probably at that point you will be too scared to do with an experimental character, leading to the result that while I think that one of my rangers is Uber capable, I have not found out yet. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

" Thats the nature of a shit system and should change. Main reason I dont play much anymore. I never was happy about it. I like always forwards progression. I dont like running content too easy 1% of time let alone 95% as is the case today. If my toons are set up to do uber or shaper I want shaper or uber 100% of the time. If they can only do 13 maps I want 13 maps 100% of the time. Call it entitled whatever life is too short to be fucked with by a game They are supposed to be fun you know? Not repetitive or make you frustrated or feel like you're arm wrestling your little sister (low maps) 95% of the time. This is why I like D3's rifts so much. There is no point you will say this is boring. Difficulty is unlimited so you will hit a brick wall no matter how well geared and can keep after it non stop until you over come that rift. Not run say dozens of say 35s while you should be in 45s rifts. Not to mention a new way to compete. Here I've done everything this game has to offer many times with my own builds. It's not that hard. 15/16 maps Uber and shaper. The only "challenge" is getting there with shit RNG running mind numbing low maps most of your time and playing trade house so you can even afford to do that! THAT SUCKS. Level appropriate for anything over 91 is 16 maps since thats all they got. Should go higher ofc since many 91s builds can breeze through 16s. Thats another topic though and goes back to rifts. Most of us have the map problemn since YEARS!
GGG don't take care of what users are saying or they are simply not able to balance the game in a way that everybody can PLAY and ENJOY. Very sad. |

GGG cant unbind their rng system from maps, but i dont mind fucking around with trade for a ring im gonna wear for 20+ hours of gameplay I do mind doing it for content thats over in 5mins.
I wish shaper didnt drop anything and it and everything else could be run ad infinitum. Just balance exp so that people take however long ggg's prescribed time is to reach l100. |

Hope never dies...or drop to often but still
Sadly could not beat her yet... normal atziri is easy but uber is just a bitch to handle YES I support the game, NO I don't agree with many GGG decisions Lab still sucks balls. I miss Zana already. Last edited by Miazga#7204 on Oct 5, 2016, 4:30:26 AM
