GG all, best race so far.

Had some kind of weird wiever bug... I killed that big spider, got beyond epic loot... teleported city, and it dc-d me. Then logged in, and I waas in city, without loot and quest wasnt done...

Had to redo whole map, took extra 30 minutes together, way more then it should have. If that wouldn't have happened, would have been def better then 21 ranked ranger...

Got pretty lucky with drops this game!

had the worst start ever, but managed to survive the first time :D
got the mace only ~15mins before the end

So I started over an hour late and placed 28th Witch @ half way through lvl 23.

Look out boys! (girls really, since witches are girls! and I guess maybe girls are playing the game too). Some could argue that the Witch competition just isn't big enough and that it's not a big deal, which could be partially true. But if you look at where the top 5 Witches are, they are definitely no slouches at racing.

I truly feel I could have gotten 30 with my new tactics and the loot I had drop for me.

If I could just not be so nervous while I'm playing my clicking would be more accurate too. I wish you guys could have seen me run circles around a portal scroll for 5 seconds...lol.

I'm also not super quick at deciding if something that dropped is better to wear or not and quickly calculating the pros/cons. I consider myself really good at that stuff when I take my time, but on-the-fly-while-running, not yet!

Once those issues are polished, I hope to be competitive for you top 20's! Real soon!

Very new to racing but happy I made it to Act 3 with my Marauder. I had a steady progression of decent mauls, which certainly helped. First time trying this class for races and survivability felt much better.

Do most people not wear chest plates the entire time? I tried going without as long as possible and felt like it helped a lot, but still not entirely comfortable going 100% without one.

Here's my sub-par gear. Looking back I should have transmuted and/or bought better HP rings.

I managed to roll +1 bow gem while still in act 1. Then I did it again with a 3L GGG composite bow in A2. Made it to level 26 almost with 30 minutes to spare, and then died because the trap laying unique mob in city of sarn caught me with an invisible trap, at which point I immediately desynced with 3 blues and that guy surrounding me and died before the lag ended. Gee fucking Gee.

Oh and I got MS boots on the beach from a chest right when I started.



I already destroyed the boots, but that's most of what I had. Rest were just coral rings, etc. Also was using poison arrow fire trap, I just took the bow to my default ranger.

sadly, I'm going to have exclude myself from any future races until the desync issue is fixed. I will submit a list to GGG of why/how SC races can be interesting as well (especailly for streamers. i.e. increasing viewership etc), yet makes death via desync... a p.i.t.a. but not a permanent sc__w job, and allows for players to continue and enjoy the experience of racing.

The last two races I've played in, I've died 3 times due to desync and it's not worth the time invested to experience a failure that is 100% not my fault.

to be clear: If I die because of my own stupidity, or I take a risk vs. reward decision that causes my death: I'm okay with that... It's part of life/game.

tl:dr.

Desync issues are ruining the races for myself and many others. Rules should be changed until issues are finally "fixed"

I came in 30 min too late.

Halfed assed my way to western forest, and grinded till lv 26
