Season One, Race Event 6: Three Hour Solo

Hey guys!

So this is my first race and I am a bit confused over how to go about joining the race.


Will it show up when I am creating a new character in game or how does this work?

Yeah, you can creater a char half an hour before the league starts. Just pick the league in question instead of hardcore/default.

30 minutes before the race starts, you can create a new character in an extra event league.
Then you'll spawn at the beach, but can't move until the race offically starts.
As long as the race is active, you can create characters in this specific league, so it's possible to reroll after a death or join in after it has begun.

Yeah the 3 hour races are a bit long for me as well. The reward points don't seem to scale well with the 1 hour ones either.

As it stands right now, I can play a 1 hour race and do well making as many or more points in the end as a 3 hour race...even less incentive for me to book off a 3 hour chunk of my spare time.

I feel that there should be more one hours races, and the additional effects should be random and crazy, where's the burning ground and turbo monsters, 50% projectile speed, Melee gems only, Ranged gems only, no gems, class restrictions and other things?

Three hours feels like a long investment and I was lucky to not have anything else planned.

Well tha' right there's your problem, boy. Aint no fun to be had in default league. Best be movin' on over to hardcorrre

You can create characters in race league starting from 30 minutes before race start.

That is the problem, I can only pick hardcore or default league
