Coffee is the best thing in the world.

It's the same situation in my home. She uses the expensive k-cups, and I 'rough it' with the reusable basket + the tinned stuff, and occasionally whole fresh ground beans.

What's next? Become Juan Valdez and grow your own beans!

So, A compromise. I bought one of those refillable K-cup filter things- the one you can put your own grounds into. AND a coffee grinder. Beans aren't cheaper, but if we're gonna switch things up, why not go all the way?

Dude, grinding your own beans is fucking fantastic. It's fantastic. It's got this like... smoothness to it? And the taste is unbelievable. Truly, this was a good call.

They got these rodents called "Civets" who eat the coffee beans, and poop them out. And I guess they hire people to pick the beans out of the poop of these animals, and sell it for $300/bag.

I guess drinking a nice warm cup of shit has a very literal meaning to some people. You might just wanna think about where those coffee beans potentially come from.
