Yes I do generalize here but I am not wrong.
The majority of the gamercommunity is shit. They have poor interaction skills and are easily offended. I was the most hated CB player after posting "Are those 1 weekers designed for unemployed non lifers similar like WoW?" It hit spot on and the outrage was enormous. Now look at the most popular streamers on Twitch that aren't so called camwhores(there are several streamers that did porn in the past), viewbotters or gametalkschannels. What's left? Streamers obtaining racist text to speech donations. They constantly shittalk about other streamers and let their viewers brigade them. The chat is literally 4chan. Wanna know the most popular streamer of Heroes another Fail by blizz?  The heroes streamers are behaving so badly that Blizzard is banning them. Not muting! Banning! They get muted and then they tell Blizzard support stuff like that or glorifying the holocaust claiming Blizzard are jews using the k(word). Calling them retarded is valid because they indeed have some mental condition. Then there are those who were watched endured the 4chan chat and then have shown their poor social skills(aka mental condition->retarded) and their viewers started to hate them(and stalked them) Look at /r/livestreamfail it's less about actual fails which happen from time to time but they happen for unknown streamers ie Pokemon go streamers falling into lakes, getting robbed ie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHh_-PFkBcQ, burning down their house.... No it's streamers falling for Porn/Shocksites hidden in gifs given by the viewers, getting swatted, getting streamers (temp) banned because many hate them aka("We did it reddit"), blatant fakes.... As the father of an autistic son, I feel I must correct you on the whole "retarded" point. No, I'm not one of those PC talk Nazis, but words do mean things.
The phrase "mentally retarded" derives from the word retard, which is a verb meaning "to make slow; delay the development or progress of (an action, process, etc.); hinder or impede." As in "fire retardant fabric," etc. It's fair to say my son is mentally retarded, because autism is a motherfucker. However, I consider "retard" as a noun to be offensive language (similar to the f word for gay people) and I find the use of "retarded" without a qualifier to be confusing and vague. Hindered how? Obviously not hindered from being jackasses on the Internet; perhaps some retardation there would be beneficial. However, most importantly, I don't believe the concept of mental retardation applies here. The term implies a process of mental development - otherwise, what is being hindered? A mentally retarded person learns at an abnormally slow rate due to a monkey on their back. I don't believe any of the fucks you indicated are learning a damn thing. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. The response is most likely "Just 4 fun", "just kidding". In reality there is no "just for fun" or "just kidding". Humor doesn't need explanation and even it's in incorrect there is a motive behind it. But spamming the phonic of [Removed by Support] 30 times in text to speech doesn't have even that. So what's the reason behind it? They imitate others without reflecting at best(up to 13 years) but most likely they have a mental condition. Why would you shittalk about other streamers? You don't gain viewers through it you are more likely losing some because some like both. Again mental disability. It even happens on streams with barely any viewer. Why would you bait streamers to be permabanned by baiting them to click links that gets them into trouble. It's not a doorbell prank unless you add some guy shooting the pranked afterwards. In passive cases they are failures at life and were bullied themselves. Those just jump on the bully bandwagon.
The ones actively provoking the streamer and then start bullying are more likely psychopaths. The ones posting threads like "streamer x got banned we did it reddit" are likely from the passive group. The psychopath bullies move on to the next streamer they can bring down. |
