poe doesn't really scale anymore for the 4 different groups of people i mentioned, my solution was to implement "diminishing returns" mechanics to solve this problem which got neglected by most.
i don't understand why, even if you haven't beaten all game content you would still be among the crowd that went farest into the game.

like only some players in closed beta ever reached "malstroem of chaos", there were next to no complaints of other players because they accepted that their builds weren't able to do that content because they weren't able to handle multiple auras and got the neccessary gear.

sadly poe got massively streamlined when it comes to difficulty, we got flooded by the "omg i got oneshot" and "why is there content in the game i can't play just because i'm a bad player" crowds ... poe needs to get harder with also providing more easily accessible mechanics.

that 90 pages long mechanics thread of mark_ggg quite shows the fiasco they created by failing to have terms that clearly communicate the ingame tech to the average player.

edit/ Seriously those spark totems, check it out. It's not how I remember them at all. It's terrible, lol. He pops them in a white pack and they keep eating the projectiles for like 5 seconds. hahahaha

I tried this league LA, never felt such facerollness, all content no matter what or where it's all cake walk. It's fun at start, but later it just gets boring, now i understand all these "buff monsters", "moar hard content pleas", "too easy" etc, as someone else posted in other thread it ruins future game experience, it becomes sort of spoiled, after playing them it gets harder to return to normal ones to handicap yourself where is reasonably good power/difficulty ratio. This power level should not be in the game nor one shots from the mobs.

I do not think that we should raise monster damage, right now some monsters do a lot of damage. Not all players so skilled as you. If you think the game is to easy play hardcore.

good point actually, maybe more people will join hc this way! I just realized that the thread I made is against my intrests, please abandon
10% life isnt even noticeable.. I think problem is more the op damage output .. easier nerfing that.
currently in most builds you dont even know what you killed, what mods it had, in the 0.5 seconds it is on your screen..power creep is out of control..

I dont know if most people like it this way, if people prefer it this way then you may consider *seriously* buff the end of act bosses so they are a challenge again..
up damage on merveil.
vaal smash should one hit people again.. ( not the rocks, those were cheap..)
piety needs more life..
dominus should have more life, and " blood rain" should do a lot more damage again, there is an easy way to avoid it...
malachai is ok as is. so are daresso and kaom..
blue packs could have like 50% more life.. they give 3x the xp...
have finally gotten used to the lab... I dont hate it anymore.:)

Bro I'm the edgelord. Seriously, my builds are hipster as ****. You guys would be disgusted, I'm just good enough to get some layered defence on them and avoid obvious and avoidable death-hits. Ascendancy classes makes everything easier. Did you mean to suggest that it's still not easy enough or something? "bloated hp"? Seriously? News flash: people are facerolling content since 2.1. It used to be a challange to make a build that could go through content like butter, and now every build does that, doesn't even matter what you do.
I have a friend that had a hard time breaking thrugh 80 in hc leagues. he usually got to around 70 and then died. Ascendancy came out and he got 85 all of the sudden, didn't even change his build. I'm sure you guys can't be serious if you deny that it's way easier now than it was before.

And now were getting some really potent rare craft mods, and it probably will get even easier.

You guys are not concerned that game will loose it's appeal if we just mow through everything? I mean, how long until it becomes straight up boring?
