My point was that if there is no challange, it doesn't give you a taste of accomplishment (unless you don't know better of course). And the game got considerably easier lately, no question about that. If there is no challange, there is no point in playing. " i know and many skilled nolifers do several builds a league to keep themselves busy. but what i (and probably op) mean is, the game should provide content for you to only play one char and feel like you haven't beaten the game at the end of temp league. poe doesn't really scale anymore for the 4 different groups of people i mentioned, my solution was to implement "diminishing returns" mechanics to solve this problem which got neglected by most. i don't understand why, even if you haven't beaten all game content you would still be among the crowd that went farest into the game. like only some players in closed beta ever reached "malstroem of chaos", there were next to no complaints of other players because they accepted that their builds weren't able to do that content because they weren't able to handle multiple auras and got the neccessary gear. sadly poe got massively streamlined when it comes to difficulty, we got flooded by the "omg i got oneshot" and "why is there content in the game i can't play just because i'm a bad player" crowds ... poe needs to get harder with also providing more easily accessible mechanics. that 90 pages long mechanics thread of mark_ggg quite shows the fiasco they created by failing to have terms that clearly communicate the ingame tech to the average player. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
