(Bloodlust + Wildstrike) Mechanics?

Blagh.

Appreciated, folks. Normally that sort of conversion is easy to follow, but Wild Strike's whole "secondary effect selected by random physical conversion" trips me up with this skill. If there was/is no physical damage to convert, the skill just kinda breaks itself in my brain.

Have not played WS yet, but it may well end up on the List Of Things To Do In The Next (Worthwhile) League. Y'know, the one after "Make Rares Great Again." Either that or do something funky with it in Standard whilst dicking around on older league guys.

Thanks, you guys have helped a lot. I didn't realize how powerful the Physical to lightning support was in my case of trying to make this skill work. I'll definitely toss bloodlust for PTL and toss fortify for WED.

I guess I'll throw on elemental weakness too. BTW no one has touched on the fact that I am using wild strike as a gladiator ascendant. It's a max block build, and I'm using the physical scaling from Violent Retaliation to make it work. At First I was using the bleed talents (Gratuitous Violence and Blood in the Eyes) but seeing as bloodlust isn't a great option anymore (which sucks because I chose gladiator just for the purpose of using wildstrike with bloodlust for a lot of physical scaling and empowered conversion of the elemental portions...).

Anyways I hope Violent Retaliation can put out as much as I intended for my original idea to DPS wise. If not I can always switch to crit though...

Btw you guys think it's worth taking point blank and iron grip keystones on the tree just for the proj portion of wild strike to benefit from?

This is a first draft max block wild strike crit build passive tree (level 90): poeurl.com/I31
