What I love is how the Clinton campaign was just in utter shock. They were so delusional to think this election was going to be a cake walk. They were so hard up with their hate for Trump that they assumed everyone felt the same way.

The leftist media is in shock everywhere - they actually believed their own bias for Clinton and the anti-Trump propaganda they were spewing for a year. Arrogant media elites f***ed themselves and everyone who believed them.

>this was for the little guy

But imagine that, every single order of business for rwnj media is about deregulating fossil fuels and deregulating the usual corporate players. They used you, they used your emotions. Congratulations.

The little guy gets fucked by every government. Believe it or not even (or especially) by socialism and Sanderist "democratic" socialism (which is just a scam).

USA was always one of the best places for the little guy, even tho big government and welfare state is keeping more and more people sedated and in poverty. To succeed people need individual liberty, capitalism & free market and not socialism (Sanders) or corporatism (Clinton).

The American people choose the least worse of bad choices, imo.

Yep, her just going to sleep without giving a speech was pretty low, even for Hillary standards...

Just caught her concession speech. It was legit. Human even. Basic message was keep working for the cause of the ideology, keep sewing the seeds of progressive values, and eventually we will reap what we sew. I had no problem with any of her speech, and thought it was probably the most honest she's ever been this campaign. It's too bad she wasn't this clear and pure while previously serving in elected office.

The problem here is that the American public just proved without a doubt that those opinions are correct.

It seems to me, based on what I just said, is that green-lighting a Clinton white house is sending an incredibly strong message to those Washington elites of 'please, continue bending us over - you're right - decide things for us because you know better'.

When you look at polling, the people - in large majorities - want policies that look like Bernie's platform. The Washington elite spat in the face of what the people wanted, and then had the nerve to call them names while doing so. How anyone can be shocked at the results is beyond me.

If Hillary Clinton had time to call President Obama last night, why didn't she have time to speak to her supporters?

because she was the leading vote getter, and it was decided by the electoral college sometime after 2am est.

The talk was about moving forward after defeat. A hypothetical, maybe. But that's a little fishy.

Given the challenges we face today, you guys should really let the Clinton concession thing go. She conceded. It was humble, forward looking, and took a positive tone. I believe when Podesta took the stage, the race had not yet been called (despite it looking very grim) and it's not like she's the first to wait till the next day to talk/concede. There are plenty of things worth bashing her for, and raising a pitchfork over her 'not conceding fast enough' seems petty.
