The game not being real world gives more reason to not care about pointless shit.

What people should be asking for is a new competitive "standard" league that is very closely watched/monitored. The closest thing you have to that is ladder, if it's too short and another long term league is too long. Maybe ask for 1-2 year long leagues that rotate out like a card game.

Or release a single player version of the game with modding that you pay for, so everyone can go away and do exactly what they want in POE.

Legacy items exits is because the ARPGs were never designed to be MMOs, so it's part of the problem of dealing with designing a long term game. Which GGG failed in having the foresight on how to do properly.

It sucks for anybody is isn't a ladder player.

So you open a museum and you have no Legacy items (Super Deluxe Spoon x346) to put in it to use them and show them off. Do you complain to the government that all these Legacy items (Super Deluxe Spoon x346) should be taken away because you weren't around when they were there? After all, it isn't fair that others have them and charge these insane prices for them because its their right.

Sure, you could buy those Legacy spoons for a TON of money, but lowly little you are just starting out and need money first. All you can buy is the new shit spoons they manufacture today. They serve a similar if not identical purpose, but they just don't scoop quite as good as they used to when they made them back then.

So there is literally only one sane guy from beta who is owner of legacies and would like them to go away.

Rest is eBay buyers who desperately try to defend their hundred $ of investment with zero game design knowledge and real world analogies.

i am having a really hard time telling if you are trolling or not.

first of all, standard doesnt mean shit. nobody gives a fuck about it.

secondly, making money is easy. really easy. especially if you play a lot. dedicate yourself to farming uber and you wont have an issue getting 100ex in a week.

3. the power creep is so bad, who even needs those super toxic cancer legacy items? i can farm uber on a 5ex budget, ill do it deathless 10/10 times on 20ex


legacy items are for collectors. some people enjoy these kinds of things. so let them lol
