cause they want you in their league and tribalism.
I play all league and think std is healthiest. stable prices. sales every-time i log unfortualty sometimes too many sales when I have to switch back and forth between leagues. Git R Dun!

Whenever there was no leagues or leagues were shit as fuck, economy on Standard was the best.

New players will see on other characters and in poe.trade items they will likely never have. They may also get the false impression they need them.
