[2.5] Greedy Roomba - MF Blade Vortex Assassin (63/329) - Atziri Viable - Solo T10+ (37/40) [Videos]

Anyone think a slayer version of this build will amount to anything? I saw it mentioned earlier and didn't really care was just going to truck on with the posted build. But then i realized i somehow haven't gotten any of the duelist steam achievements . . .

The leech, the aoe, the more dmg, all seem good but i kind of feel like being lazy and not going for a new "cutting" edge build at the start of the league.

@Hob, yeah the benefits to AoE, 20% culling, almost permanent Onslaught and 50% reduced physical reflect damage taken is really good - the tree is a bit wonky because you have to get out of Duelist area, but the bulk of the tree is left - I would only play it as a DPS version though, it would be inefficient as MF.

I have a character I can respec in Standard once 2.3 hits, but I probably won't test it until I've raced to endgame in Prophecy.

do you think the "blade vortex leveling" section is the best to follow for starting a new league and mfing? i'm seeing A LOT of different trees in the comments and i'm fairly confused about what i should do.

Yes, this is the build I have been using and the way I will level in Prophecy. All the other builds are just theory crafting for other classes that people are interested in, but the build I play in all the videos is the one in that section.

I want to try for the first time to start a new league with an MF character.
Is there anything new in 2.3 that would change this build? Or is it 2.3 ready? Will you still update it before 2.3 launches?

The only thing that changes the build is the Ascendancy changes to Assassin, which isn't important until you are planning to do the Merciless and Map version of the Labyrinth. If you use Poison go for Toxic Delivery, otherwise Assassinate for the free culling strike.

I plan to stream my experience today, hoping to make it to maps before I stop. In Perandus I was in the top 100 on release day so hopefully I can do the same today, although I am still new to streaming so that could distract me a bit!

Hope anyone following this build does well if they plan to start the league with this character like I am! Up at 4am Western Australian time just for release!

For me it's always Elreon to start with because he is so easy to level and offers -mana rings that can sell easily, then for this build you want Catarina if you plan on crafting a dagger, but I hate her missions so I normally do Vagan for his special mod that sells to all the CoC players.

You need space for Zana, but you want Haku at a level high enough so you can craft your own gear without having to ask someone else to do it for you. So to start with I would go Elreon + Haku until they are a decent level, then invite Zana, kick Haku and chose from the others. I think it comes down to your own needs really.

Prophecy Progress
Well after a long day streaming, I have consistently been at about rank 200 (currently 6th Shadow). Didn't managed to do too well in the start, had some issues with losing sound and a crash or two, but managed to get it together - Level 68 with 27% IIQ / 66% IIR which is a start. A lucky unique strong box resulted in this happening though:
