Error with new update

Of course I did it.

Another voodoo trick I tried was uninstalling all VC++ packages, rebooting the computer and trying to install the one from Redist folder. This time it ended up with error 0x80070308.

It had the same description as the Error 776 from DISM.

Im running on Win 7

1. I installed this - Windows6.1-KB2999226-x64 - " says its not The update is not applicable to your computer"

2. vc_redist.x64.exe and vc_redist.x86.exe - dint wok , says "0x80240017 unspecified error"

3. I tried downloading missing dll's too, dint work and all other "spectral throw moves" - dint work

What am i missing?
