Not sure if GGG will address this issue and find a more suitable solution, but either way, I feel way more comfortable getting it resolved myself rather than waiting for an update from GGG (that's no knock on GGG, just with this short time-frame, I wouldn't assume a solution can be found before launch). So... why isn't GGG including the prerequisite files in the installer? Not all of us have the free disk space to install 8gb worth of updates. My C: drive is a 32gb ssd with 1.5gb free. I never planned on adding anything much to it, that is what my 2tb D: drive is for. Is it possible to copy my C: drive to a larger ssd or would that break all the file cross-references? VC2015 redistributable packages requires some updates to be installed and won't install without them. But instead of downloading and installing all that it needs it will just show error and you have to search for it's meaning. Typical MS UX there. That's true. It's on Microsoft, but GGG should at least make it very clear as to what's going on in the update. I'm alright with doing a little digging around, but I doubt majority of those who face this same issue would feel the same way. GGG should absolutely attempt to find workarounds for this rather than chalking it up to Windows issues, even though it is 100% Windows.
