What about "wall-street", corruption and "money in politics", ie. the major debating issues that Sanders brought up all the time? What about "fighting the 1%"? I guess he actually meant sucking up to the 1% rich Clintons :D

By endorsing the corrupt, power hungry & warmongering Hillary, Sanders and his movement looses ALL credibility. He's just a sellout and his movement will now be re-integrated into the collective and disapear.

People forget Trump has openly admitted to being a lobbyist to fuck with Bush and Clinton. Hear me, the criteria is simple: lesser evil. There is no good thing about Trump, except low taxes (but it's not worth all the shit).

Voting Trump is cutting the middleman.

Who ya talking to, Morbo? All I hear is a distant, tinny voice in the background, like a badly-tuned radio. Doesn't sound like it's saying much, though. I tend to ignore that kind of noise. =^[.]~=

That Hillary will put "special interests" before everything else, is a given. Voting for Hillary is also voting for a totally corrupt politician, who compromises national security and according to the FBI 100% broke the law, but wont be indicted because she's too powerful and her last name is Clinton.

Full FBI report

Trump is a showman and full of hot air. Hillary is pure calculated evil. It will be really ironic to watch all those "peace-loving" liberals & lefitsts, voting for a warmongering b***h, with a proven track record of destructive interventionism abroad, becaue "Trump is dangerous".

I'd laugh louder, if here in the EU, we werent eating the fallout of Obama/Hillary wars... -_-

Hlllary's presidency will be the most unremarkable of ever. She will go out of her her way not to offend anybody. She'll be like the grand administrator.

I doubt the election would have any significant result on the status quo - Washington corruption will remain under either candidate - but I do think the election will tell the ruling elite whether we prefer the nice guy persona (or gal, in this case) or a blatant asshole.

I'm not gonna lie, there is a certain appeal to the latter. The nice guy persona is just that, a persona - you're getting an asshole either way. There's a certain honesty to the idea. Trump is openly disgusting - as opposed to secretly.

However, I doubt I'll feel strongly enough about the issue to actually take my butt to the polls when it's time.

I'm mostly concerned with US foreign policy. I'd like to share your optimism, but let's be real and compare the situation at power transitions:

2008: Bush left Obama with two unresolved conflicts: Afganistan & Iraq

2016: Obama will leave six unresolved conflicts, that the US is directly & indirectly involved in:

* Afganistan, still, warfare there will never end, so maybe just pack bags and gtfo
* Iraq, still, ISIS is far from being defeated
* Syria, a complete clusterfvk
* Libya, the country that Hillary helped destroy is still lawless. ISIS buildup
* Yemen, I bet most Americans dont even know there's a war still going on there and the US is involved logistically in support of Saudi regime. ISIS & Al-Qaeda buildups
* Ukraine, frozen conflict that could erupt any day

Well, at least Hillary can't do any worse than Obama, right? Then there's NATO buildup in the Baltics & China rattling in the south china sea. Did I forget anything? The Venezuelan socialist experiment will prob. kick the bucket soon, so you can expect some war there.

Whoever is gonna be the next US president, his/her presidency wont be "unremarkable". Someone will have to clean up the total mess Obama will leave.

Sorry, but I would rather our new President spend little to no effort "cleaning up messes." That's just a liberal euphemism for endless war.

Sorry, but I would rather our new President spend little to no effort "cleaning up messes." That's just a liberal euphemism for endless continuing a war conservatives started.

You're right though, that either candidate will become massively involved in those conflicts.

I'm not defending Hillary (I expect more a Obama 2.0 than anything). I'm saying that Trump is no better than her. See his crappy casinos and the university. He is an obvious con man with half million lawsuits that make that mail stuff tame. He openly said he lobbied politicians. And I can easily say he is an ignoramus in too many things like economics (or that vaccines cause autism, or that global warming is a chinese hoax, or that Obama birth certificate). He is the archetypical corporate asshole.

Any illusion he will be less hawkish is wishful thinking too for anyone paying attention.

When I say that there is no upsides, I mean it.

Hillary is straight up corrupt and evil. If you cant see that you're not very perceptive. I'd take two more Obama terms over one "we came we saw he died" lol Hillary

Hillary will continue uparming our terrorist armmies and kick russia out and will turn over Syria to Al Qaeda like groups like she did Libya

Hillary will ring Russia with nuke convertible ABMs which give Russia less than 10 min to live. Will Russia stand for it? Tell grandma no need to worry about social security IMO does not need to be solvent if you're not alive hahaa

Domestic she's a divider like all dems are. Instead of American way its identity politics/grievance hucksters which can get out of hand quickly.
