All GGG's credibility down to toilet...

Information presented by the OP in this Reddit post show that it was GGG staff member who told Lightwood guild about

"How masters crafting really works"

Few ppl were given knowledge required to capitalize on the whole league. It seems that it was possible way earlier but prices for masters mods were 5 time higher and wouldn't be so profitable.

I have no words for this. Policy "Players should discover changes to game by themselves", literally destroyed current temporary leagues. (ps. yes we know - not for you SF players... we dont care about you...)

It seems that there is even influx of Acuities in 1-2 week of each temp league with different iLVL than Uber instance from known 3rd side site when noone even killed UBER :D... Holy sh*t it's getting deeper and deeper.

There was similar post about even cash gathered for founding start of PoE development...

Discuss.

ps. Bite thread.

you're just jealous GGG didn't pick your guild to stear down the path to riches and make possibly thousands of exalts.

Oh wait, nevermind..... that's me.

I don't understand what the issue is? Before the Masters came out people cried, screamed, bitched and rage quit over the fact that crafting sucks. So another option for crafting goes in, people instantly decide it sucks and don't bother to mess with it in depth - now that someone has taken the time to fuck with it and figure out ways to craft for exactly what they want (intended by GGG? Who knows) and make mega orbs off of it people are upset about it. Absolutely no reason why they had to share this knowledge ever but they decided to. Just as new recipes can be shared or horded, it's up to the person with the knowledge as to what to do with it.

Sounds to me like 2 nerd boys are upset at each other and having a fight about it, in the process going to try to ruffle as many feathers as possible and get people all riled up over whatever the fuck they can make up and just watch the fall out. Do I think a member of GGG gave them a tutorial on how to craft, no. I don't. Did a support member playing the game make a comment about crafting while playing, maybe so. Staff members ARE allowed to play the game after all. However, in no way shape or form would any member of GGG give away secrets or share information they shouldn't. Not one member of GGG is going to put their job in jeopardy for some orbs on a video screen, not going to happen.

If you say it's proven, please provide the proof. All I could find in the reddit thread was hearsay.

PoE's trading and Economy is notoriously retarded... Everyone knows that, so there's no reason to get mad at GGG.

Here's what these people will tell you so I will leave this here...

"Don't like people with 200 mirrors worth of currency because of certain trick preformed? Just wait till the next temporary league and as long as you keep rerolling every single temporary league (and temporary quit the game when there's no new league going) until PoE die or better game came out, you will never have to worry about people profited from favoritism."

So there your solution.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.

I have better things to do than go on a scavenger hunt. If you can't provide proof, just say so.

What if GGG introduces new vendor recipes in next temp leagues and only tell to few ppl about them ? You really dont see the problem ?

If i knew there was an Exalt recipe that takes 10 chaos and converts them into ex. You think ill share it with rest ? HELL NO. Same as Lightwood i would first accumulate 70 mirrors, and then show it to rest of the community so NOONE else will be able to walk the same path.

It's funny and sad same way. Funny coz community was fooled like kids, and sad bcoz it was a developer who started it all.. Person that shouldn't affect his product.

As a fellow developer it makes me sick.. It's a complete lack of professionalism.

They knew about a trick before you did. They saw the opportunity and made 20,000 exalts and then they put it on reddit so noone else could do this anymore.

Players made more profit than they will ever need for the life of PoE... and this has nothing to do with you.

GGG DEV favoritism or not it has nothing to do with you, and there's no EULA stating GGG DEV can't play favoritism.

In PoE anything goes, so just let it go.
