It's a well-known fact that some GGG-staff made friends with some people, private messaging them and whatnot.
I believe it was Kripp who asked Neon for game mechanic stuff, when he was in doubt how it worked aswell (Why the fuck isn't there just a bloody PoE wiki which ISN'T made by the fucking playerbase, come the fuck on).

Also, expect this to get nerfed MID-LEAGUE just like Elreon Multiple Mod. I've just lost hope in GGG lately.

This shouldn't be 'legitimate' behaviour, game mechanics which are vaguely known and game mechanics which are basically unknown and economybreaking are two different kind of things, the latter one happened here and the fact that it happened has to be addressed by them as a company.
This skews entire leagues and fucks over the whole playerbase outside of the handful of people who benefit of it for the sake of someone wanting to please your friends, at least try to act professional.
I am not angry nor do I know if it actually happened, but the issue itself and the given suspicions have to adressed and in either case get resolved (explanation of the situation, apology, maybe a statement what really happened?).
There are plenty of ways, but keeping quiet for all the time and moving threads into different subforums and not actually responding to anything at all is actually not acceptable at all.
Yeah, the game is free & blabla, it still doesn't mean that there aren't ways to critizise behaviour and point out a lack of professionality.
If you decide not to give out informations about recipes or crafting in detail to player, then every single one of the employees has to comply to it or you lose face as a company and the trust of the customer.
In any case or outcome I'd like to get information on what actually happened and from which source these informations come from and why there was nothing in the patchnotes or anything.

Ok here is new feed from hatewheel on reddit:

- Chris admited that scouring change was introduced with masters. Meaning Qarl was right, Ventor acted like complede greedy d***. Qarl removed message because they want US to find out about shit. Even shit that was supposed to be in manifesto or patch notes.

- When community datamined stuff like currency ratios/ affixes chances/ vaal orb affixes chances etc. They changed it before and after it was released just to f^^k with us.

- There is a shitton of illegal software that helps players, even indexer better and faster than XYZ, which can even scan private accounts (WTF.. jk knew it was possible, poe has terrible user data management...)

- on scoring thing right now its "many crafters vote" vs "chris vote" - if it was possible prior 2.0 or not

All that bugs me is that the guys used their own Trawler to spy for Mirror drops. Trawling through inventories, chat .. etc etc

thats the only problem i see here. Thats equal to running a bot, maphack or whatever.

Also it has to be checked for third-party website interactions. Speaking of, have orbs being sold to shady websites ...

Ive asked about the same thing the moment it was moved but on priv. It seems that its considered as "how we think GGG is supposed to solve this problem", but for me its either "shit shit shit" or "poe community is an expert on ethical behaviours"
